I love this place. I have probably spent over $1,500 at the Midtown location. Just recently found they opened a location in Bartlett. I live in Lakeland. The first time I went to the Bartlett location I took my mother whom had just been released from the hospital (dine in). It was perfect. Second time I went to this location, I just went to get the Nutella pizza for dessert after a Sunday meal with the family (to go/ ordered online). Now today (to go/ online). I ordered online at at 5:43 PM, $74.42 total (including the $11.47 tip) and it said it would be ready by 6:10 PM. I arrive at 6:20 PM. They are very busy. I patiently wait until 6:50 PM, when they pass over the food. Not even upset, as the food is fantastic. I take the food to my car and decide to check it, because, as I mentioned, they were slammed. Everything looks good, BUT my calamari was in the bag upside down, and all of it was covered in sauce, and I was short one side salad. At this point I am frustrated, but not mad. Still wanted some delicious food. I go in and ask them to make some more calamari and ask to get the other side salad. They say okay. So while I am waiting, the manager/ owner I assume (female), approaches me and asked me if I dropped the calamari. Still not mad, frustrated, but not mad. I say no. As I did not, or I would have walked in a PAID for another order. Thats not good enough. She tells me that it was dropped, and that she will check the cameras. I ask her if she is serious, she says yes. I was so mad at this point that I did not think to tell her that it was in the bag upside down. I tell her I will just bring the food back in and I want a refund. Her tone changes and she says she just want's to know what happened. I say it does not matter, and went and got the food and brought it back in. No apology, nothing. Just "You will see an email with your refund" (not from her, but from the man she walked in with). It is never cool to assume the customer is a liar and treat them that way. I will never go back to either location, and any/ every time Little Italy is brought up, I will recommend otherwise. Go give your money to someone who deserves it. I have only have eaten once today, I have to sit here and post this review any where and everywhere I can. Maybe in an hour or so I will be able to eat and go to sleep. I am so upset, you would not believe it. Let me clarify that this has nothing to do with the wait time, this has to do with being accused of dropping something, and then when telling them I did not, being accused of lying and threatened that the cameras will be checked. If you are reading this, who ever spoke to me, when you go back and check the camera, look real hard and you will see they placed it in the back...
Read moreI recently dined at Angelo’s Little Italy Ristorante in Bartlett, TN, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic meal. The decor is charming, blending authentic Italian flair with a cozy, family-friendly vibe, perfect for a night out or a special occasion.
We started with the garlic knots, and they were a revelation! Freshly baked, golden, and generously coated in garlic, olive oil, and what appeared to be a dusting of Romano cheese, they were the perfect balance of crispy and soft. These little bites of heaven set high expectations for the rest of the meal, and Angelo’s did not disappoint. These may have been the best garlic knots I’ve ever eaten.
The Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza was a standout; loaded with tender chicken, smoky bacon, and a creamy ranch base that paired beautifully with the mozzarella. The crust was obviously handmade, crispy, and cooked to perfection in what appeared to be a double-decker oven. I can’t say enough about the crust, light yet substantial, crispy and full of flavor. Equally impressive was the Chicken Alfredo Pizza, a rich and indulgent treat. The creamy Alfredo sauce, combined with juicy chicken and a blend of cheeses, made every bite absolutely divine.
What truly elevated the experience was the top-notch service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had a great time. One gentleman took the time to help us decide on our order as the menu is enormous. They made us feel like family! The owner even came over to check in on our experience and ensure it was amazing. Angelo’s Little Italy is a gem in Bartlett, offering authentic, made-to-order Italian dishes in a beautifully decorated space. I can’t wait to return for more!...
Read moreHad pizza for lunch, it was average. They sprinkled parmesan cheese on my pizza which I don't care for. It was on the table so I could have done it myself. Worst part was they didn't clean off my table after the last customers. The dishes were left and the table was left dirty. No sanitation between customers during this virus outbreak. I sat at the very end of the table away from the mess.
Response to response: First of all it was the only table that wasn't taken that seated less than 10 people. Your server should have noticed the dirty table when he brought me the wrong order. I even noticed him look over at mess left on the table. I shouldn't have to tell your employees to clean a table that I'm clearly sitting away from and keeping my distance. Train your employees better. There's nothing malicious.. Sorry your upset over a bad review. Maybe next time when your establishment is full of people and there is only one person you will clean a place for them to sit instead of them having to be selfish and take enough room for larger parties. As for how New York style pizza is served, I'll give you that one though I've had it without parmesan. Even without the parmesan it would have still been average. I could have said it totally sucked if I was being malicious. Get...
