I ate at jaffa today for lunch. When I went back in to look at possibly getting a dessert, the young lady working the front counter came out of the restroom with dirty napkins (they were out of paper towels and the napkins were on the back of the toilet to dry your hands) in her hand and went right to the register without washing her hands. Whether she was cleaning or using the restroom, either way she should have washed her hands before serving any of the salads or desserts at the counter. I chose not to have a dessert and when i walked back by she was serving pastries without gloves or tongs. These were ready to eat foods. As an individual who is servsafe manager certified, these are all health code violations and i have advised the health department of my concerns.

As far is the food goes, the lamb sausage was good, the appetizer combo was good but the babaganosh...

The food is delicious. I really welcome the Mediterranean cuisine. Its not easy to get such cultural variety in Colorado. Their Gyros are the best I can find around here. Tender and flavorful with freshly baked pita and delicious tahini make this my favorite dish. However, I expanded my horizons by ordering their chicken shawarma plate which was a lovely light but satisfying salad; their brisket sandwich is so tender and juicy. The hummus is freshly made, but a little bland for me. They also carry fresh baked bagettes and croissants for the morning crowd. I wish they were located closer by but I'd probably eat there every day...

It’s very basic and not authentic. Literally no flavor. Burnt falafel, that doesn’t actually taste like falafel. Not real pita bread, just regular bread in the shape of a pita. Hummus should not be this bland. The food was fresh, but without any purpose. You can probably take a picky 5 year old here, since nothing here has any actual flavor. I was hoping for something more palatable, but I could have made something better with stuff I could buy from the city market next door. If you’re afraid of authentic ethnic food, this is a great place for you. Was going to try the dessert, but two pitas, a side of falafel, hummus, and a...

Meh. Had been wanting to try this place for a while now and unfortunately was quite disappointed. I got the falafel pita, which was mostly cabbage and very bland. I asked for some hot sauce & the man working the counter (who had acted annoyed when I ordered, despite it being incredibly slow) said it would be 60¢. For a little bit of hot sauce at a middle eastern place? Please. I definitely won't be coming back for pitas but may try the desserts next time. They looked delicious.

The lady who takes the order was very rude. I ordered the vegetarian Sabich sandwich and specifically requested to exclude eggs in my order. Guess what, it came with eggs. When I called back to complain, she started arguing with me that it was my mistake and I didn't confirm the order before placing it. She didn't even apologize for her mistake nor offered to refund the money for that item. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Would have given it 5 stars but the carrot cake was dry and they wouldn’t change it out for something more palatable. Also the chicken shawarma had a slightly bitter taste. The gyro was good and the tiramisu was good. Could have played hockey with the carrot cake. Staff was friendly, just not accommodating.
