Hello Readers,
🟣Background: I am an avid arcade junkie and frequently visit any I come across. Recently, I’ve been hitting up Chuck E. Cheese and its various locations. I spent about $32 for just over an hour of play. This location was a solid experience but nothing above and beyond.
🟣Food: I purchased no food, so I can not review that aspect of the location.
🟣Games: I played about 90% of the ticket games (skipping over most shooters and other lengthy story driven ones). A handful of them were broken such as an Egyptian coin pusher, the Simpsons soccer, and down the clown. Others seemed faulty but not entirely unplayable. Some just didn’t work well with the current mechanics of the new-ish card system. Any game that dispenses a coin to play is slow and clunky as I have to wait about 10 seconds before I can get another coin. In some cases, this disables the jackpot feature as I’m supposed to rapid fire coins but am unable.
There was a wide selection of games to choose from. They had plinko games, timing games, physical games, luck games, and shooter games. Many of these I had never seen, usually because they were ancient, not new. There was however a lack of enticing coin pusher games.
My least favorites included Goal Line Rush (impossible to win) and Big Bass Wheel (values too low and used spinning mechanic instead of lever). My favorites included Pop the lock, Monster Catcher, and Jum:p (even though I was trash at it). The ticket farming at this location is very limited.
PLEASE add the minions jelly lab game. I’m begging you!
🟣Atmosphere/Sanitation: The overall cleanliness of the building was excellent. I did see messy tables, but I assume staff aren’t supposed to clean them until they are confident the people are finished/gone. I went into the (male) bathroom, and it was perfectly clean, not shinning but above average.
I arrived during a child’s birthday party, and consequently, there were a lot of people. A lot of the children were running around; I saw multiple parents/siblings hunting down a runaway child. However, I don’t mind this much as I understand they’re just kids. The vibe was what to expect from a slightly hectic birthday party.
🟣Staff: The staff were average. I didn’t have many interactions with them. Somebody cleaned most of the time (I think). The prize area wasn’t manned constantly, only when needed. And since it was a birthday party, Mr. Cheese himself made an appearance. The kids appeared to greatly enjoy his presence as the Chuck E. Cheese Show (?) played in the background.
The manager, when I visited, was excellent. I had three coupons for a lot of tickets, and the manager was able to add them all to my card hassle free. I received these coupons from another Chuck E. Cheese through an unorthodox method due to a missing manager card, so I’m glad they worked without any setbacks.
After every Chuck E. Cheese visit, I tend to grab a small treat, usually a lollipop. When I went to purchase my item, the manager gave it to me for free. While yes, the item was only 100 tickets (it was 60 at a different location), it was a nice gesture and went along way. So thank you Mr. Manager. I really appreciate it. It made my little visit.
🟣Overall: My experience at this Chuck E. Cheese was limited as the game selection was quantity but lacked quality. However, it was redeemed through an incredible staffing experience. I hope to return to this Chuck E. Cheese when I get the chance.
Thanks for listening to...
Read moreMy first time at THIS Chuck-E-Cheese's, and wasn't very impressed. I DID like the first two staff members I encountered upon entering, however, when redeeming our tickets for prizes, staff wasn't too happy or friendly. The ice cream vending machine took my money ($2) without dispensing the ice cream. Tried several choices, but it's clearly broken (needs an out of order sign is my thought). Brought my 2 young kids here to attend a bday get-together (they were unable to get birthday pkg - too expensive for their budget, unfortunately); so, I didn't even bother trying to find staff member to get reimbursed for ice cream machine malfunction. This place IS quite pricey too. $18 for one (1) medium pepperoni pizza. It was very busy as expected for a Saturday. We stayed a little over an hour here. $$ RECOMMEND $$ Purchasing only 1 pass for 2 kids as you can use the one card for every game/ride in there within the allotted time frame. Save money.
Overall, I'd say my experience was okay, satisfactory, but it could be better.
Pizza came out quick Lots of games to choose from Pass card accessible to every machine/game New/modern games Big building so we weren't cramped even with so many people there.
Animatronic(s) weren't active, saw only Chuck, he moved around a little, but my 8 year old wasn't impressed. My 3 year old kept his distance. Lol Not many rides for the little ones No ball pit (as I remember and LOVED back in the day) Warm atmosphere, got sweaty within minutes of arriving. (I wasn't the only one) Vacant tables were not clean at all; pieces of food all over the booth, had to clean it off with napkins before could sit down.
I had heard good things about this location, maybe today wasn't a good day to go? I may try another time during the week when it's not so crowded and update this review at that time. Step it...
Read moreI'm from Texas and I cannot believe this is the only Chck E. Cheese around here. My kids have loved CEC everywhere we go. My mom happens to live nearby this one so I'm glad it's not far away but I am saddened other kids don't know about this place.
It's always been a fun place for kids and birthday parties. The machines here were mostly up and running except for 1 so that's really good. They have a good mix of stuff for kids up to 4 and then the bigger kids. Most CEC will have more machines for bigger kids so this is great if you do have the small kiddos. After a birthday party if you happen to catch one that day there would be a costumed Chuck that comes out to greet the kiddos which is a welcomed site. Most of the time he would leave after greeting the birthday kid but this one walked around the store to take photos with everyone which was really awesome since I didn't have to hunt him down for a picture. Just that gesture from him there was no way this place deserves anything less than 5 stars. The staff was very helpful and the food for the kids was spectacular. They didn't have cotton candy my daughter was looking for though but she was happy she met her best friend Chuck so that made up for it.
Must try this place if you've never been. Buy time instead of tokens per game if you intend on being there for awhile. Itll save you money if you intend on playing games for 30 mins and above but if you plan on stopping and eating often then either buy 20 mins at a time or just pay per game. I usually buy 45 mins at a time but my daughter has slowed down lately and wanna play about 25 mins then buy food. So buy according to what your plans are to save...
