I went to taco bell on siegen lane last night. I ordered a #5 combo (with extra cheese and beef. no sc or beans) An empanada and 3 (side) orders of cheese. My boyfriend got a beefy 5 layer (xxcheese and beef no sc or beans) and DLT (no lett or tom). After waiting for a while..a long while. I got my food, drove off to a parking space and checked my food. I ended up getting... No extra beef on the #5, there was a few small pieces in the center not even enough to eat half of the meal. I'm also glad I got extra side orders of cheese because there wasn't extra cheese either. And also they rang me up for 3 side orders of NACHOS instead of the side orders of CHEESE I had asked for. Which the 3 NACHOS alone came out to be $4.5something cents + tax vs. The $1.something +tax I would have paid if I had been rung up currently. And the chips THAT I WAS RANG UP FOR wernt EVEN IN THE BAG! On to the next.. So me being broke af, which is the whole reason I eat at taco bell, decided to go try to get a refund for something I didn't even want nor receive. ( while waiting another LONG amount of time...) We started to eat before everything got soggy and nasty. the 5 layer was good My side taco for my #5 was good The DLT had lettuce on it At this point we finally reach the window. I try to explain the situation to the cashier a few times but she wasn't quit understanding what I was saying. I handed her my receipt, to show her and I told her that I had ordered 3 side orders of CHEESE not 3 side orders of NACHOS. And that I was charged extra and I that I never received the chips I only received 3 side orderes of CHEESE. She just kept asking if i wanted chips or cheese. So I at this point I'm just frustrated and I tell her to just give me the chips. (she also never gave me back my receipt, I would have liked that) All I wanted was a refund of something I didn't ask for or get in the first place..... After I got my chips that I didn't want. I went to go sit in the parking lot to eat the rest of my food and realized I had ordered an empanada...which also wasn't in the bag. I went to get back in line, again... I got to the speaker box and at that point I was sooo done that I just drove off and went home, and ate my nasty soggy #5. $25.23 is what I paid for BS....
Read moreThere’s really no point in trying to come to this location past 9:00pm. Night shift manager isn’t interested in running the store.
IF YOU’RE EVER TOLD THERE IS A 30-40 MINUTE WAIT AT THE SPEAKER, THIS IS A BOLD-FACED LIE TO GET CUSTOMERS TO LEAVE. Tell them “okay,” order your food anyway, and pull up to the window. You will not be waiting that long. Don’t let this awful excuse of a manager fool you.
I know this because both times I was quoted such a lengthy wait (yes, it has happened more than once), I had mobile orders that I said I didn’t mind waiting on. The wait was actually less than 10 minutes each time. Any food service worker knows that actual excessive wait times come with valid explanations from employees and usually signs posted to explain the delay. This woman simply doesn’t want to serve customers.
This last visit (I mean last in more ways than one) I came through to pick up a mobile order and she told me I couldn’t receive a particular menu item. I decided to cancel my order, but before I could they marked my order as “being prepared” so that I could no longer cancel. I immediately returned to the location at around 12:30-12:40am to receive at least something for the money I paid, and they were telling me they “closed” when I was staring at the obviously posted hours saying they were open until 1:00am. The employee standing near the window refused to speak to me face-to-face after I honked and knocked on the window. Eventually I left and I’ll obviously be filing a chargeback with my bank for the food I paid for but never received.
If you insist on ordering at this location, which is a bad idea anyway, don’t let any of the employees or managers give you any nonsense. The second they do, immediately file a complaint. Better yet, Taco Bell should ensure that these employees are let go and replaced with people who are actually interested in doing the bare minimum job they’re paid to do. I work in fast food, I know how it can be. I don’t need smiles and upbeat attitudes in the window or over the speaker. But just like it’s expected of me at my job, I do expect to be served during posted business hours and I really don’t think that’s too much to ask, but apparently for some...
Read moreCustomer service trash, walked in no one greeted me. Went to the restroom washed my hands came out. The worker sitting down got up walked right by me. I said "how are you doing", she said nothing. I'm not use to the whole kiosk machine, so I'm standing at the counter for someone to assist and finally another lady who didn't greet me said you picking up or placing an order. Then I realized the kiosk, and walked over placed my order and the lady who didn't speak 1st just said my total. I didn't know what she was talking about because she just said 2 numbers and nothing more as she was coming from the side of the kitchen. I looked confused and sje repeated the same numbers and I figured out what she was saying and paid the money and then the other worker who asked about placing an order informed me they were out of something I ordered and I had to ask what were the alternatives rather than be provided with them. She then came and didn't make eye contact, and saw me standing there and placed the item where it almost tilted and fell on the counter rack they have. As I sat there and ate my food, I thought maybe they tired or just not having a good day. Nooo that's not the case. I observed several non-minority male patrons come in and they greeted them, thanked them for coming etc... like all customers are paying customers and people shouldn't treat others differently because they are a certain person. Money come in all colors from all over the world, diamonds and precious stones come in all different colors , shapes, etc.. so when it comes to customer service and working in the service industry social skills are a must. I know work can be stressful, bad days happen, but to be that way with your own it's an embarrassment. I was very polite, was not loud, spoke and received no greeting and paid my money just like them. I know it's hard to keep employees, but that's probably why they work there, because they lack skills to work...
