The absolute worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had in my entire life! A group of us from work came during our lunch break, like we have on multiple occasions, because we are REPEAT CUSTOMERS! Not only do we come to this restaurant during lunch hours, we’ve all also came on weekends. For some reason it is continuously being said we wanted a “fast food” experience. NOT ONCE did we ask where our food was or what was taking so long during this 45 mins ordeal! We asked for our check ahead of time so when the food came out we could just eat & leave. We are well aware of how good food takes awhile to prepare. When we did get our food, all but 1 of us, it was cold or luke warm at best. For food taking that long we expected piping hot food, I mean who wouldn’t? When the cook in the kitchen dropped off the meals a pizza was left off. When she asked if there was anything she could get us, one of us replied “can I get my pizza?” Everyone else’s food was already brought to the table. From that moment on it went completely south. This cook proceeded to throw the pizza on the table when we asked for a box because at this point it was time to leave. Then she charged back to the kitchen to start screaming where the entire restaurant could hear her. How unprofessional is that?! All because we asked for the pizza we ordered & had already paid for at this point. The owner or manger then comes out to ask if there’s a problem & proceeded to defend this employees behavior. When the waitress came to the table we tried to speak with her on why this employee was so upset & we were told this is not “fast food”. We never once expected or asked for that? Since being a repeat customer we knew what to expect. Maybe this employee was having a hard day & asking for a pizza pushed her over the limit but it’s not excusable to treat your customers this way. We love the food, when it comes out hot, is why we’ve come over & over again, but after this day it’s safe to say our party of 7 will...
Read moreWe get together about 4 time a year.I have been working out of town for over a year since the pandemic. One of the ladies in the group highly recommended Isabella because she ate there a couple months ago and the wings was great .I don't eat pizza we ordered spinach dip which was good.Tea look like water ,ordered 2 orders of 16 wings I ask to divide make half to go.About 15 minutes later server came out to inform us they had 14 wings for one order and 16 for second order, we ask about the price manage okay to discount by 10% When wings came out they tasted and had the texture of microwave frozen wings, soft soggy. The lady who recommended the wings said wings were not like what she had 2 months ago but we never complained. We took it as you don't go to a pizza place for wings. The problem came when they came out with my half order of 8 which was 5 wing parts with the wing flap. I told server I would not paid for this ,server reported my concern to the manager server return reports manager said (he will call the cops if we refused to pay ). Our group have traveled over US and outside the country for leisure and work ate all kind of cuisine and never was threaten to have the authorities called because we had a problem with the quality of food served. I really felt it was a violation of our group choosing to fellowship at you restaurant then be threaten .Please know who you have in charge ,train and educate good customer service, this situation could have went out of control over a 50 cent wing. I do not recommend Isabella service cold and dark like...
Read moreI see where people were disappointed with their pizza take out orders and want to respond.
It is ridiculous to order a pizza and pay $22 and not look at it before paying for it. Any issues could have been resolved at that time or you could have taken your business elsewhere.
Common sense tells me that if I drive 20 minutes to get a pizza I would check it out before paying. I definitely wouldn't complain when I got home. You said it was undercooked. Did you think to put it in the oven.
To the lady who felt that being ignored while other patrons were waited on was racially motivated: I can understand why you feel that way. I hope your review was a wake-up call for the owners. Family owned businesses sometimes fall short on customer service etiquette. My suggestion to Isabella's staff is to be more alert and strive to give patrons the best service to go along with the fantastic food.
Now for my review: a friend and I had a late lunch at Isabella's today. He had the lobster ravioli and said it was very good. He cleaned his bowl. I had a cup of tomato basil soup and a large Mediterranean salad with balsamic vinaigrette. Next time I will have a bowl of tomato basil soup and a small salad. The soup was amazing; silky smooth with a spicy kick on the back end. The salad was the best I have had anywhere. Service was excellent. We will be returning.
I feel the low rating is...
