This was an accidental find! We were driving around and saw the hustle bustle and wanted to see what all the excitement was about! This was perfect for us. It is a unique little pizza restaurant, near the college (LSU). It seemed like a fairly family friendly place with a lot of college students around. You get in line and tell them how to load up your individual pizza. It's a line kind of like subway but for pizza. When everything is chosen they bake it and call your name in about 15 minutes to pick it up at the counter. You get to pick all of the ingredients. You can have regular or gluten free crust. You can choose from several different sauces (red, white, oil) You can have dairy cheese or dairy free cheese. You can have all meat, all veggies, or any combination. It appeared to be one reasonable price, regardless of the toppings and only a $2 up charge for gluten free, which is amazing in itself. I don't think they up charged for the dairy free cheese. The inside was a little crowded that day but the decor was nice and comfortable. We ate outside which was comfortable due to the outdoor temperature. I was starving and just devoured the pizza. I wish I had taken a picture because it was an excellent presentation and experience. We...
Read moreA hot-spot for LSU students. This place has a line out the door during lunch and dinner hours almost every day, and for good reason! It basically functions like Subway for personal pizzas. You order off the menu and then pick and choose from a wide variety of toppings at the counter. Each month they feature a new specialty "Pizza of the Month," such as this month's Chicken Shwarma Pizza (made in partnership with Serop's Greek and Lebanese). The staff is always friendly and efficient, especially considering the constant influx of customers. However it can get very loud here during peak hours, as the seating area and kitchen are all in one big room rectangular room with no effort to dampen any noise. It's ok for college-age folks, but don't try to bring your parents who are losing their hearing (like mine). Wouldn't say it's the best pizza in town, but it's definitely worth checking out if you're an LSU student and need a...

The best pizza place in town, and you craft your own, from sauces to cheeses to toppings to finishes... ready in a few minutes in a giant whole-in-the-wall brick oven right in front of you! You can actually craft a real Italian-style pizza here if you want, not possible at pizza chains. Tons of premium cheeses, meats, and veggies, such as fresh mozzarella, ricotta, blue cheese, a vegan "cheese", roasted red bell pepper, sauteed zucchini, caramelized onions, roasted garlic cloves, kalamata olives, artichokes, and more! Finish it off with arugula, chopped fresh basil, pesto, balsamic vinegar, fresh grated Parmesan, and more!
Three or more toppings is $8, and I usually get 7-9 toppings, plus 3 finishes... all for $8, and very very healthy! Unbeatable value! There is exactly the same concept with the same price structure at LSU in the...
