Extremely disappointing experience. I flew back home to Baton Rouge and suggested this establishment for a place to catch up w/ friends & family. Since I had never been, I was looking forward to the experience. This underwhelming experience alone reminded me of exactly why I left Baton Rouge and don't plan on returning. I wish I was joking. I could write an essay about my experience but I'll just bullet-point the high-lights, or maybe low-lights, I should say instead: -This place is sheer aesthetics, very cutesy but extremely cramped and small. I was sitting less than 12 inches from the next party. -Arrived with a party of 8 (4 adults & 4 children) at 12:30, after a large lunch hour rush. Was seated by 12:45 and by this point, 1/2 of the restaurant had cleared out. Host was quick to seat us and made accommodations for our large party inside which is the only compliment I can share. -By 1:45, after an hour of catching up, we realize our food & cocktails was still not at our table. Additionally our server, McKenna, had not been by even once to check on us or update us. Big mistake allowing ourselves to be distracted because Pink Agave definitely took advantage. -We start inquiring about McKenna's whereabouts & eventually she ends up at our table. We advise her that we had a 3:00pm engagement & would prefer to pay for the items received (1 Kso, 2 Bean Dips, 4 Bubble Baths, a Splish Splash & a Boujee B*tch) & to cancel the 2 remaining cocktails & 5 entrees we waited an hour for. She tells us that she cannot cancel the food we had already waited 60 minutes for. Not understanding the lack of accountability and blatant disregard for inconvenience, we requested a manager. -The manager refused to speak with us and instead made McKenna return to inform us they would not cancel but could box up the food and ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES to-go....At this point I'm ready to walk out at the suggestion of us eating, drinking and driving to our next destination. The audacity of the manager. I advise McKenna that I want to speak to the manager, as I think the counter-offer is ludicrous and inconsiderate, to say the least. -The manager, Ash, who mind you is dressed in a soccer jersey and looks like a table busser comes to the table and informs us of the restaurant's inability to cancel food due to "policy". I wish we had walked out honestly, just to stick it to their policy. Mind you the food is still not out. -Because I am extremely embarrassed for even suggesting Pink Agave, I pick up $160 of the $210 tab. I am so ready to part ways. Despite the horrible service, I still tip McKenna $20 which was extremely generous despite the fact that she clearly forgot about our table. She apologized for the experience, citing the fact that she was "over-sat with a 6-top and 8-top" after our arrival for her negligent service. -As you can see from the receipt, it appears that the food wasn't actually rang in until 1:50 pm, about 5 minutes after we started looking for McKenna & almost 60 minutes after we ordered. There is no way a caesar salad, GuacNRoll, small soup, an order of QuesaBirria (3 tacos) and 2 chicken tacos a la carte took 60 minutes to prepare and I will part ways with Earth on that hill. -My card was swiped at 1:58 and by 2:10pm, after allowing my daughter to eat her now limp salad that sparsely covered the entire bottom of its' to-go box, I was running from Pink Agave. My advice to Pink Agave is to hire more experienced servers if you are going to enforce such stiff policies or maybe loosen your policies if you insist on hiring inexperienced college students for servers. Either way, best of luck because I will never return to this establishment and wouldn't even consider giving another location a try. Also, I'd like to add that the quesabirria was so bland that Pink Agave has inspired me to re-open my taco stand, Birrianna's! Be on the lookout this summer and fall for my grand re-opening. I have to show Baton Rouge what REAL birria tastes like, so thank you PA for that, at least. Check us out at @Birriannas on Insta! 0...

While many restaurants can boast about ambiance or culinary creativity, it is exceptional service that transforms a good evening into a lasting memory. At Pink Agave, that magic has a name: Josi.
To say Josi was simply a great server would be a vast understatement. Her presence at our table felt like the gentle choreography of someone who not only understands hospitality, but embodies it with every word, every gesture, every perfectly timed moment. She didn’t just serve us—she hosted us, as if we were guests in her own home.
From the moment we sat down, Josi brought a quiet confidence and warmth that immediately put us at ease. She greeted us not with a routine welcome, but with genuine attention, as if she was already invested in making sure our evening was nothing short of exceptional. Her ability to read the table was uncanny—offering suggestions precisely when we were wondering what to try, refilling glasses before we had to ask, and pacing the meal with a natural rhythm that made the night feel effortlessly smooth.
What stood out most wasn’t just what she did, but how she did it—with grace, patience, and a sincere enthusiasm that never felt scripted. She remembered small details we mentioned in passing. She checked on dietary needs with care, not obligation. She navigated the flow of our conversation, never interrupting, yet never out of reach. It was the kind of service you don’t often see—because it comes from someone who genuinely takes pride in her role.
Even her recommendations felt personal and thoughtful, not sales-driven. She described each item with such vivid sincerity that we found ourselves trusting her entirely—and every dish she suggested, from the Quesabirria tacos to the churros, reflected her excellent taste and attention to what we might enjoy most.
By the end of the night, we found ourselves lingering—not because we were waiting on anything, but because we felt taken care of in a way that’s rare. Josi didn’t just serve food; she created an experience. And while the food was certainly delicious, she is the reason I’ll return.
Pink Agave is lucky to have her. And any guest who gets to be in her section is in the best possible hands.

Read moreWe arrived made reservations for 13. Waited over an hour. We were ok with that. I inquired about how much longer we had to wait. The hostess which was nice explained they were waiting for two people to leave because they were going to group the tables together to accommodate us. Well 5 minutes later one of the tables that we were supposedly waiting on they seat another party there. So I asked again she was still nice she explained that they were waiting on another party to leave. Well after an almost 2 hour wait she finally tells us our seating is ready. So we go over to be seated it’s only enough room for about 6-8 people. So the Nasty Manager with the horrible attitude Josie was clearing the table next to us. I just assumed they were giving us that table as well. So I asked if this is our table she with the worst attitude rolled her eyes and says no it’s not that’s yall table over there. I said that will not accommodate all of us. She stated yes it will and walked off. So we allowed my Neice and her friends to stay since it was her 16th birthday we walked over to the daiquiri shop next door received much better service and had a great time. When we went back to sing happy birthday to my Neice the waiter bought out the cake. Plates with no utensils to eat the cake with. Didn’t bring the sparkles for the cake we had to keep asking for the sparkles. The food was horrible and the customer service except for the hostess was horrible. I guess they don’t value the customers because the gratuity for a large party was already included. I didn’t want to ruin my Neice’s sweet 16 so we allowed her to have her moment. The worst 255 dollar experience ever. And Josie needs to fired because if she treats all of the customers they way she treated us Pink Agave your business won’t last. Customer service is at an all time low. And your...
