McDonald's — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

This is the worst Mcdonald’s I have ever ordered at in my twenty-three years on this Earth.

Two days ago, I placed an online order at 11:25 AM. I arrived at 11:45 to pick it up. My order was not handed to me until 12:20 PM. It was very upsetting because I wasted time on my lunch break because of the restaurant’s mistake.

I was told the classic “pull up to the window at the end”. I obliged. And I watched as every car behind me got their order, while my online order was forgotten. (A double-cheeseburger and a 6 pc nugget, not even a DRINK, literally just two items I ordered.) The employees forgot that I was told to pull up to the other window, and I awkwardly waited in my hot, AC-less car.

Mistakes happen. That’s fine. Food service workers are under immense pressure, so I believe this is some kind of restaurant managerial issue.

But from this same Mcdonald’s, I have received VERY wrong orders three times. Instead of a double cheeseburger, I received a plain burger with extra mayo. And then, on another occasion, I ordered a regular quarter pounder. I received an UNDERCOOKED, RED quarter pounder with mayo and mustard only. Like what? I didn’t realize until I opened the bag at home. It was so bad. And then, on ANOTHER occasion, my fries were old and burnt, and were hollow inside (?!?!)

Please do better, Mcdonald’s. I have given you so many chances. None of the other Mcdonald’s have been like this, even the one that was on the brink of shutting...

Day shift is amazing. Night shift is always a problem. Last night, I was called STUPID, because I asked an employee if she was on break, because she was out passing food out and never went back in. I HAD received my food 20 mins prior to this. The cook brought my food she brought my food at the same time. Told them were just waiting on drinks. They stood outside my car, and the COOK asked did you start making it yet. She said no and they walked back in together. 5 mins pass. I go inside . She called me stupid because I had to leave drive thru to come inside just to be called stupid. WHERE THEY DO THIS AT LOL IF YOU WASNT outside talking you wouldn't have to be checked. The manager of last night's shift was OK with it all. All while girl kept saying she better hope she don't come back here. You're preparing meals for people who are spending money so I expect the best but these young folks...

They were not very many cars in the Drive-Thru (which was the only method available to purchase food) but every single car was directed to drive around to the other side of the building and wait without exception the whole time we were there and we drove around to the other side of the building as instructed and then watched several cars that had been behind us leave before we got our two cheeseburgers that we ordered, which were not exactly hot or fresh when we got them, and were not up to spec even from McDonald's poor quality standards. The fries were pretty good however and the guy threw them in the bag for us because we waited forever for our two cold double cheeseburgers, that are no longer on the dollar menu because apparently there are no more dollar sandwiches at McDonalds. Newsflash McDonald's, if your food sucks it's supposed to be...
