New China — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

Starting with the good, stellar service! The people inside were very kind and helpful. Food was hot and fast and fresh. Sadly, the shrimp in our fried 4ice dish tasted like it had been sitting in old, dirty water. The hot and sour soup was strangely sweet and very thick, like a thin pudding. The dumplings were tasty, but had an overpowering ginger flavor that gets tiresome after a couple bites. The Amazing Singapore chicken was definitely the star of the show. Delectable! The egg rolls were also light and tasty. Looks like the dishes here are wildly hot and miss on flavor, so I will likely be back to try...

One of my favorites spots to eat in baton rouge the owners are very polite loving hardworking people I know in my community The food is always fresh and homemade made with fresh ingredients and wonderful seasonings they put love in it and prices are really great for the economy we live in but they always have orders correct fresh and delicious everything is great I truly love New China y'all check them out you won't be disappointed truly appreciate this place thanks y'all so much I truly love this place and food and I don't really do Google reviews but they deserve...

This was my first and very last time I’ll be going to this place unfortunately. I usually never leave reviews unless the food is bomb or not good. Yall this food is not good. We ordered the food, left the restaurant only to realize the I was missing the rice from my dish.
