Reginelli's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

Today we visited the Jefferson Highway location and overall the pizza was good. However, we ordered the king cake mardi gras bread pudding and it was undone, watery, and the cream was melted all over the top. Before we go to this moment, we asked the waitress if we could change the king cake bread pudding to the chocolate cake. we realized that we did not want to try the bread pudding because we would rather get our usual chocolate cake. We asked the waitress if we could change our order to chocolate cake instead of bread pudding and they replied "no, we already cooked it". We were not asking for a free chocolate cake, we just wanted to change our desert. When the bread pudding came out we could not eat, it was runny and uncooked looking. Not only did we have to endure an order we did not like, the manager made us feel extremely uncomfortable. I really hate that this happened today because we have been there a lot, but this was the worst...

The food was excellent but the service was awful. The manager was great but he needs to fire the staff and replace them with people who know how to and are willing to work. We were a group of 20 and we apparently doubled the normal group of customers and produced chaos. The individual pizza orders came out on time but the sandwiches took over 45 minutes to get to the table. One woman never got her sandwich and finally left when they told her she didn't have to pay. Half the individual checks were incorrect, orders were mixed up, the wrong pizzas were on the bills. It was a giant mess. Also, the women's restroom was "temporarily out of service" and everyone had to use the men's restroom, which has seen better days. The entire operation needs a lot of attention. Will not...

Knowing they closed at Midnight I called at 11:27 pm hoping for a pizza delivered to my hotel room and they gladly helped me! The order taker and delivery guys were super nice too - my pizza even showed up right around Midnight, which was pretty quick.

For a pepperoni my options were small or large ( the one time I wanted just a medium), the price for the large was only $15.95 plus tip, and I posted posted two pics so you can see the pie.

It was really thin which was okay. The pie wasn't soggy like many thin, thin crusts tend to be. The pepperoni was very tasty and the cheese/sauce was as well. I would prefer more cheese and sauce myself. Next time I'm in town I'll ask for just that.
