Smoothie King — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

I just recently moved in across the street and have been coming to this Smoothie King, only a few times but consistently, for my usual — a strawberry Gladiator (protein version only, no GLP-1). Today, Sydnee completely made my day. She recognized my order and took a moment to kindly explain that the “Gladiator” and “Gladiator Protein” are actually the same thing, so I didn’t need to keep clarifying. She broke down what’s in each one, told me about extra protein options, and really took the time to make sure I understood what I was ordering.

It might sound small, but that kind of attention and care means a lot. She greeted me with such a warm smile and sweet tone — you can tell she genuinely enjoys her job. Good customer service makes such a difference, and when it’s bad, it can ruin the experience no matter how good the drink is. But thanks to her, not only was my drink perfect, I left feeling really appreciated as a customer.

This is by far the BEST Smoothie King in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. I’ve been to nearly all of them. This Smoothie King location CARES! Cares about you. Cares about making the Smoothie the way you expect it to taste. Peter and Jaylnn are so warm and personable. They go over and beyond to make sure you are happy with the Smoothie❤️ Service is quick here. Some Smoothie King locations take F O R E V E R to get a Smoothie. Employees are talking, visiting with themselves and they just don’t care!!!! And they address repeat customers by first name! And know what Smoothie you want before you tell them! I used to go to smoothie king all the time, but lately I’ve slowed down due to unfriendly employees and lack of care. I decided to go this morning, and it’s the fifth time in the past month or two that the same girl has been unfriendly at the window. Someone else took my order, and he was really nice until she took my payment and handed me a smoothie that was dripping down the side of the cup. I usually don’t leave reviews, but I love getting my smoothies before work in the morning and this is really making me regret going. And now my cup holder is disgusting.
