This was my go to place in Baton Rouge. I love it bc it is always consistent in flavor and taste no matter what time of day you order it. When I am back to visit, I always try to stop by and make a trip here and today was no exception. My husband’s favorite drink is the Okinawa milk tea. He says it’s the best hands down and he’s yet to find a comparable substitute in Houston. It’s smooth, creamy and sweet and it’s very delicious paired with their baby boba. (I’ll attach a pic but my husband couldn’t wait and started guzzling it down lol). I ordered their mango passionfruit and it was delicious. I will say if you’re not a fan of super sweet, make sure you say you want 0% added sugar as their syrup/jam mixture already has a lot of sweetness. My daughter ordered a creamsicle maybe? I can’t remember the name but she said it was very good and my son ordered the watermelon mojito and it was also very refreshing. Just make sure you stir that one as the butterfly pea tea sits at the top. This place is so yummy and the staff is always friendly. Def come try it out if you like boba teas. Their other location has more food items as well (off college) but I have never been.

Ever since moving back to Baton Rouge, I have always been to Teatery and I love that they added a new location near LSU. However, I still stop by the Corporate location whenever I can. The customer service is always great. I love that they do points virtually so I don't have to keep track of punch cards or anything and it's a nice surprise to get a virtual gift card. Everytime I try a new drink, I'm pleasantly surprised and have a new favorite. I enjoy the vibes and they've been adding additional snack items and whatnot. Definitely the place to go to for a quick drink and fun time with friends. (2021 OG review) Best bubble tea in town. The tapioca is always soft and chewy. I also enjoyed the oreo mousse cake. Great vibes for hanging out with friends.

I usually try to support all the Boba stores wherever I go and I've tried all the Boba stores in my area now since moving here from Texas and this is probably my least favorite place. The Boba was old and they dumped alot of it in my wife drink. Both of us couldn't finish our drinks. The place is cute though and I wish them the best but it's not for us. My hokkaido milk tea was the worst I've had tie with a place I had in Florida. And the brown sugar was too sweet, need to lower the amount and not try to coat the cup to make it look cool. I know a stores performance can vary with what time you get your drink and your worker that day so I'll keep it at 2 stores. Maybe one day I'll be in that area to try them again.

i went to visit teatery since it was near my house and my experience was really good. i ordered a taro milk tea and a regular fruit tea. im always cautious when ordering my taro milk teas, because some boba places tend to not mix the drink well, so there are always chunks in my drink, but the boba teatery made was smooth and tasty. not too sweet, but also not flavourless. also the tapioca was so soft and chewy it was amazing?? many boba places are very loud because of the constant noise of the machines, but teatery isn't loud, but its also not quiet, which is good. studying here would be a great idea. you could come, order a drink, and study. there is also an amazing scent that you can enjoy while studying. not to mention the whole place is very aesthetically pleasing? its very nice, and the workers there are very nice, and they make sure to ask if you want any extra sugar, ice, etc. overall, i think teatery is a nice place to go to if you want to get boba or study. i would definitely recommend...

African Americans must become invisible when they step foot in here, because I was not greeted when I walked in, or reassured that someone would take my order soon.

As I waited, I watched the employees tend to and answer questions from the patrons who had already ordered, but of course, none of them were of African descent.šŸ¤”

When I approached the counter after waiting about 2 minutes for the person ordering to finish shooting the breeze with the the young man at the register, I approached the counter to order, and the same young man looked at me, and asked me without a greeting or salutation, "did you want something?"

I said no thanks and walked out. I will never step foot in this tea shop again and would not be surprised if the business fails by disaffecting black patrons. I'll keep going to Paradise Smoothie...
