FOR THE OWNER: Please recognize! The 2 guys working around 5:00 pm on Sunday March 1st were very down to earth and didn’t make me feel like an inconvenience. They were able to multitask with online orders and walk ins. Both were Friendly and welcoming. Very clean and fresh food. This will be the only location I will visit in Battle Creek.
Saturday June 28th A lady had a coupon for a sub but it excluded the roast beef. She did not know so she asked if there was an exception this once. The worker said no I cannot do that. The customer said well I don’t want that unless I can use the coupon. Then the worker said well, you’re gonna have to pay for it because I can’t take a hit from $15 sandwich. The worker was acting as though it was this huge profit loss if the lady wasn’t buying it. It got a little tense . By this time this whole transaction was reaching upwards of 10 minutes of being told to wait just on this conflict. The 3 people behind this lady were waiting over 20 minutes. The line was not moving!! One lady had a pizza getting cold. Another customer said she would pay for the sub! I guess then the issue was resolved. However this could have been handled differently! Just this once let her use the coupon for the roast beef And make it clear this is the one and only time and you are not supposed to be doing this, but this is the exception. Read moreSo I wasn't going to say anything, but after my experience, I guess I need to. I ordered something's less and something's more to customize my sandwich, and the order was completely wrong.
As you can see in the picture. I even ordered cheese on my sandwich, and I didn't get any, as you can see.
I wouldn't be so annoyed by this if I wasn't getting so much pushback and loud sighs of irritation from the man who was, in fact, the OWNER.
He was the first to tell me that the employees are the ones that make the final decision of what's less, and what's more when it's a doordash order.
I completely understood that as well. But it was the fact that there were no items that I asked for on the sandwich, and the items that I asked for less of, or more of, weren't correct either. The only reason that I'm giving it 2 stars in certain aspects is because he at least asked to make me if i wanted another one, but his attitude was so great, I didn't dare get another sandwich from them without worrying if they did something to it.
(Fun fact: They gave me minimal sauce in a cup to pour on my sandwich myself. I asked for extra on the recipe TWICE.)

I'm sorry to any worker in this type of environment that has to set aside things going on in life in order to give good customer service.... sorry in the form of empathy💓.... this is the nature of the beast. Please understand, I am not an outside that doesn't know... with over 20 years in customer service, I KNOW how hard it can be. With that said, you upset my daughter for no reason, all you had to do was NOT IGNORE her!!😡 Thank you so very much for giving her another reason to think people don't like her(sarcasm included).... just like I don't know your situation, you don't know hers and how you acted REALLY affected her.
