I received my order in the mail today. I ordered one original crumb cake, one blueberry crumb cake, and one apple pudding cake. All three cakes came in one box. The crumb cake have a small cardboard plate and they are wrapped in plastic wrap. The apple pudding cake which looks to have had some drizzled icing on top was put inside of a parchment paper bag. The crumb cakes are fine being shipped in plastic wrap. However I'd recommend shipping the pudding cake in an actual container. The oils from the cake soak through the parchment paper bag and the icing drizzle sticks all to the top of it. The first one I tasted was the apple pudding cake. This cake is so good. Just the Cake part is amazing, and the crumb topping along with the apple makes the cake out of this world. I'll definitely be trying the other flavors. I'm originally from New York so I've had some pretty good coffee cake /crumb cakes. The crumb cake is good, I got it with the powdered sugar. For my taste buds I would have liked a little bit more cinnamon in the crumb topping and a little bit more actual cake. Just in my personal opinion I feel like the crumb topping to cake ratio is slightly off. I would just like to see a little bit more cake but keep that amount of crumb topping because everybody loves crumb topping. I did like the blueberry filling crumb cake a little bit more than the original. I think I'll try the raspberry filling next time because I'm sure it's going to be good. Overall they have decent cakes and I would order again .

A charming local establishment, offering a delightful array of baked goods and coffee that generally impress. Their selection of cookies, a major highlight, ranges from classic to inventive. While most of their cookies receive high marks for flavor and texture, those adorned with frosting tend to fall short, lacking the same appeal as their unfrosted counterparts. The bakery also serves a nice breakfast selection, which holds its own in terms of quality and taste. The options are varied enough to suit different preferences, and each baked good is prepared with care, ensuring a satisfying morning meal. Delectable danishes and turnovers to name a few. However, the service at Mueller's Bakery, particularly when ordering, could use some improvement. The interactions tend to be somewhat dry and lack the warmth you might expect in a cozy bakery setting. This aspect, while not detrimental to the overall experience, does leave room for enhancement. In summary, Mueller's Bakery is a solid choice for anyone seeking quality baked goods and a pleasant breakfast option. Their coffee pairs wonderfully with their selection of treats, making it a go-to spot for both locals and visitors. With a bit more attention to the customer service experience, this bakery could truly excel.

I found out about this great bakery from an old coworker. As soon as you enter, this place may seem a bit small, but they have a really good selection of decorated cakes and cupcakes, pastries, and assorted cookies by the pound. They also sell other assorted items such as mugs and T-shirts. The bakery is clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I got one of the best-selling pudding cakes as per the staffs recommendation and a couple of pounds of assorted cookies. The apple pudding cake is truly fantastic. It was so light and fluffy and not too sweet. The cookies I tried had a nice buttery taste to them. The prices here are not too bad, especially for this area. The cake was not expensive, but the cookies by the pound were a bit costly, and it was worth every penny. I see that this bakery has been around for many years. Based on the quality of the baked goods I have tried, I could truly see why this place stood the test of time. I recommend checking this place out, and I will most definitely return the next time I am in the area.

I think I paid, on average, $5.00 for every item I purchased at this bakery. 2 cookies, a brownie, and a cupcake. Nearly $5.00 for the cupcake. My daughter said the cupcake was pretty good. The brownie...as far I am concerned, Wawa sells better prepacked brownies, to be honest. the frosting had no taste, and the brownie cake itself tasted bitter with an aftertaste. The cookies were "not bad". For me, better to bake fresh at home for a whole lot less, as someone who avidly bakes and grew up with a Grandma who was a baking marvel. Also, the young lady who handled my counter service didn't smile once. She spoke as if she was being troubled by having to assist me. Good customer service is one thing that I always focus on, as someone who has worked in a bakery and other service oriented jobs. I'd rather go to a place where the product is so-so with exceptional, friendly service that makes me smile and when I leave gives me that warm and happy feeling inside (which I have experienced many times at many places), than a place with an excellent product with so-so service. This place really didn't impress me with either. There was one lady who greeted me when I first approached the counter. She was pleasantly friendly, ready to help. The other young lady should take some pointers. According to my parents, who are locals, the bakery is renowned for its crumb cake. Not my thing, but perhaps that is...

Today, I arrived at Mueller's Bakery at 6:10 AM, which might seem crazy, but they open at 6:30, and I wanted to be the first person in the door! When you walk in on a Saturday morning at the start of the summer season, you know immediately from the aromas and the beautifully filled cases and shelves that everything is freshly baked. I selected their seasonal blueberry lemon cake for my beach house renters, and for myself, I picked out a big, beautiful cinnamon walnut (or pecan- I'm not sure) danish. I drove over to Dunkin, got myself an Iced coffee, and I sat in my car and enjoyed every bite of that danish! Their danish pastry is about the best I've ever had - except for the bakery from my childhood years- Margie's Cakebox in Scotch Plains, NJ. Every bite of my Mueller's danish today was fresh and heavenly. A lot of the danishes you find today, even from fancy bakeries in NYC, are extremely crusty, and even crunchy. I don't want that! I want to sink my teeth into soft, fluffy-layered danish with a beautiful drizzle of confectioner sugar glaze, the perfect amount of cinnamon, and a generous amount of chopped nuts. If you're looking for old school danish that you will love, you need to visit this bakery, but be prepared to wait on a long line unless you arrive before...
