On an exceptionally hot day in Orlando, my visit to Gaston's Tavern turned out to be a truly magical experience. Seeking respite from the scorching sun, I entered the tavern with the simple intention of grabbing a cup of water and a refreshing drink. Little did I know that the wonderful employee there would go above and beyond to make our day unforgettable.
The employee at Gaston's Tavern understood the toll that the heat had taken on us, and their warm and welcoming demeanor instantly lifted our spirits. Not only did they promptly provide us with a cup of water to quench our thirst, but they also surprised us with a delightful treat—a mouthwatering cinnamon roll. It was a small gesture, but it made a world of difference to us, as we had been rushing from ride to ride and had barely found the time to stop for a proper meal.
The cinnamon roll at Gaston's Tavern was a true highlight of our day. It was freshly baked, generously portioned, and exquisitely delicious. The sweet aroma wafting through the air was irresistible, and the moment we took our first bite, we knew we had stumbled upon something truly special. The soft and fluffy texture combined with the perfect balance of cinnamon and sugar created a delightful explosion of flavors that left us craving for more.
Aside from the delectable treats, Gaston's Tavern itself was a charming oasis in the midst of a bustling theme park. The rustic ambiance, inspired by the tale of Beauty and the Beast, added an enchanting touch to the experience. The attention to detail in the décor, from the antler chandeliers to the wooden furniture, truly transported us into Gaston's world.
The location of Gaston's Tavern was also ideal, conveniently situated within the park and offering a much-needed break from the crowds. It provided a cozy and comfortable spot to relax, recharge, and enjoy a moment of tranquility amid the excitement of the park.
In conclusion, my visit to Gaston's Tavern was a delightful surprise that turned a sweltering day into a memorable experience. The exceptional employee's thoughtfulness, combined with the heavenly cinnamon roll, provided us with a magical treat that energized and rejuvenated us for the rest of our adventure. Whether you're seeking a refreshing drink, a delectable snack, or simply a place to unwind, Gaston's Tavern is an absolute must-visit during your time in the park.

Read moreGaton's Tavern Cinnamon Roll: I find it a little funny that the "manliest of manly places" is known for a massive cinnamon roll of all things. Gaston's Tavern is loosely based on the one from the 1991 animated classic. It boasts a water fountain/statue of Gaston and LeFou outside and the interior includes Gaston's chair along with a fireplace adorned with a picture of the man himself. The tavern's signature cinnamon roll is large, packed with cinnamon flavor, warm, and gooey. Make sure to ask for an extra cup of icing (currently free). I was impressed as that extra cup of icing was even warm, making it easy to pour the molten sugar onto my roll. In addition to the excellent cinnamon flavor, there is also just a hint of maple. If you look closely at the pictures you can see the tan icing that contributes the maple flavor. As delicious as it was, I did feel a tad disappointed. All the pictures I've seen of this cinnamon roll online look different from what I got. Other pictures (I'll include a collage of them at the end) depict a roll that's more raised and seems even bigger in proportion to the plate. I'm wondering if there was a recent recipe change? The "smaller" roll I got was still plenty big and definitely tasty, it just was not exactly what I was expecting. Doughboy approved but be aware that it might not be the same roll you got the last time if you've been here before. Bon...

The interior of this place is accurate. I feel like I'm in a tavern. Gaston's tavern, to be specific. It's decorated with antlers, and his big ol' portrait is on the wall. The light is dimmed, the tables are away from ordering counter, and the side door opens right to the spot where the Gaston costume character hangs out for pictures.
The theming is nice, and the drink is also nice. It's described as (Frozen Apple Juice with a hint of Toasted Marshmallow and topped with All-Natural Passion Fruit-Mango Foam). The taste is definitely 80% apple, but every sip and a while you get the toasted marshmallow in there, and boy howdy it's nice. I kind of wish there was more of it, honestly. The foam on top is kool and tastes nice, but it adds nothing to the drink. I wish the foam was marshmallow flavored, but maybe that would be too much like Butterbeer for their liking? I don't know.
Overall, it's nice. Come here. But if the park is truly packed, don't expect to find a seat....
