My son and I stopped in to get a quick pizza at Little Ceasars on Ladys Island tonight after a VERY long and trying day. My son, wearing a Beaufort County Baseball uniform, played 2 games in the Little Leage World Series that is being hosted by Beaufort this year, and it was HOT!!!
We approached the counter, saw there was no pizzas hot n ready, so decided to get some wings and bread that were available.
The employee came to the register and told us that they were shut down, they closed at 9:00. OK, didn't realize that, my bad.
We got in my vehicle to leave, and I noticed that it was 8:39 pm.
If it were just me, I would have just pulled away and went somewhere else. It wasn't though. I was trying to get my son a pizza, he was hungry, and this man just refused to serve us. He did not offer anything that they had ready, just flat refused us.
I went back in through the unlocked door, past the large neon OPEN sign and went back to the counter. I asked the man, who reluctantly gave me his name, if he knew that it was not 9:00 yet. His reply was "we stop taking orders at 8:45". I then asked him if he knew that it was not 8:45 yet. He tried to walk away from me.
I asked him if he was the Manager. He replied that he was today. I asked him what the Corporate policy is. Afterall, doesn't the advertisement state hot and ready in 5 min?
I asked what the store Manager's name was. He refused to tell me, then said 'Greg". OK, and his last name Sir? "I don't know, I can't pronounce it", he replied.
GREG, I sure hope you read your reviews. I sure hope you didn't know that you have an employee that refused to feed a little boy in a baseball uniform 20 minutes before closing.
Perhaps your employee had to get somewhere and needed to leave early. Maybe he has a dying family member in the hospital that he needed to go see. I could definitely understand that, because my son and I do, too.
I am not going to post your employee's name. However, this occurred on July 27th, 2024...

No I didn't get deep dish- I got a basic veggie pizza. I asked, "Is the pizza ready?" "No but, it'll be right out." Then I told the girl behind the counter- "I just saw them box it"... Not her fault but get more staff and communicate. Let your poor ONE Cashier know which pizzas are ready! It's simple- just call it out.. She's running in circles trying to tell people what pizza's she needs, processing payments, taking orders, and answering phones. I shouldn't have been waiting that long without an apology or free crazy bread...
Read moreI am a dasher and waited nearly 45 minutes for 2 pizzas. When asked how much longer. I was informed 2x that they were just going through the oven. This was 20 minutes apart. Also I witness the young man prepping the pizzas for the oven, grabbing grapes from a bucket with gloves on toss them in is mouth then continue to make the pizza, without changing his gloves. Several employees were also grabbing in the bucket.....cross contamination written all over that area. One lady was there for welliver an hour waiting on 2 pizzas. In thwean time there were several employees messing around out of sight...but could be heard. Very...
