Never again.I understand that they are low staffed, as most restaurants are now. But, me and some friends just had THE WORST experience here. Attempt 1- we had ordered our meals, asked to make the combos a large because we had read that we could do that. after asking, there was just no response. and then we had went on with the order and the lady was quite rude by just not responding to us. the lady had just assumed that we were finished with ordering (we were not), and our total appeared on the screen. so we waited about a minute or so and then pressed the button again. the lady then let us order, asking if it was a continuation of our order. we said yes, and continued to order. we had received the food pretty quickly, i'd say. So we get the food, and then we check to make sure all of our food was there and exactly what we wanted. unfortunately, there was mayonnaise on the sandwich even though we did specify not wanting it. so we hit the button again. Attempt 2- we had told them about the sandwich. we were nice and calm. the lady still had an attitude with us, though. so we tell them about the sandwich, and they say that they'll bring it out to us. we waited. and waited. and waited. almost 20 or so minutes passed, and we had not received the burger. so we head to the drive through. we get there and the guy says "sorry we are no longer taking orders." so we told him about what happened and how we've been waiting for our sandwich, so he said "oh okay, give us a minute. we are busy right now." so we waited, again. and then the guy told us to pull forward. we pull up to the window, and tell the guy what type of sandwich we needed. a double bacon cheeseburger with no cheese or mayo. he yells back and says "HEY I NEED A DOUBLE BACON CHEESEBURGER, NO CHEESE NO MAYO." and then he checked back with us to make sure that was what we ordered, and then yells it back again, and we heard him yell it both times. so then we pulled forward like we were then asked to, and waited. within a minute or so, he comes out with the sandwich. we thank him, of course. we check the burger, and there's no bacon . we were not rude, and don't think we deserved the attitude and negative energy. all three of us ordering work in the food industry, and understand that being low staffed sucks. but we stay calm, and help our customers sufficiently and quickly. don't...
Read moreI wish I could rate this experience 0 star. Ahmad's disrespectfulness was more intense than a toddler's tantrum in a toy store! After politely requesting he change his gloves (because hygiene matters, folks!), he decides to unleash a masterclass in customer embarrassment right in front of my sweet grandma, who's probably knitting her eyebrows in confusion.
But wait, there's a twist in the tale - or should I say, a whiff? As Ahmad lectures me on glove etiquette, I'm suddenly hit by a fragrance straight out of a mystery novel - moldy cheese with a hint of "eau de old cigarettes." It's like a gourmet cheese shop gone wrong!
Determined not to let this cheesy encounter spoil my appetite (or my grandma's), I summon Nicole, the manager, for backup. And guess what? She brings the drama like it's opening night on Broadway, with a performance that could make even the toughest critic applaud - or run for cover.
In all seriousness though, where does this establishment find their staff? Is there a secret society for customer service calamities, or are they just auditioning for a comedy roast? Either way, it's clear they've got a talent for turning a simple sandwich order into a memorable...
Read moreI worked at a well ran Sonic when I was a teen, so I have really high exspectations for other Sonic facilities. I have been here a number of times and it has always been a pleasant exsperince except for 1 time where I was slightly disappointed that my order was wrong.
Today was the first day I didn’t go through the drive through. My order was out In less than 4 minuets.
Fresh and not over cooked!
The carhop was on skates ( the poor guy looked like he wasn’t very preficent)
He was helpful and kind. And after a bit he came back to ensure my food was good and to ensure that I didn’t need anything else.
I give the management props, they are doing it right.
