Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Beaumont

Much better customer service. I guess Joaquin is no longer managing. Great job! Hot fresh food and super friendly service was received by us today. UPDATE: no Joaquin but another ignorant manager on this evening 6/30/20 @approx 830pm. Went through drive thru. Young lady was nice and professional, although I didn't understand why I had to place my order at drive thru AND AGAIN at the window. Unfortunately, she neglected to give me a receipt and since I was literally spending someone else's money, it was important that we have a receipt. My daughter got out and went up to the window to ask for a receipt(something automatically given when providing good customer service). The MANAGER- not the employees, the manager, shift leader, blue shirt- had the audacity to loudly sigh and say, "OH MY GOD, A RECEIPT?" Like that was a burden for her! Dear manager if you see this, REMEMBER THAT IT IS US LOYAL CUSTOMERS WHO MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR YOU TO HAVE A RESTAURANT IN OUR COMMUNITY"... MANAGER TO MANAGER, YOUR TEAM IS ONLY AS GOOD AS THERE PERSON LEADING- WHICH WAS YOU AND YOU FAILED THEM TONIGHT..I wish I could give YOU one star because your team was exceptional without your rude, unprofessional, lead. Im lowering my rating from original 3 stars to 1 because there is never a justification for a rude team leader UPDATE: I am so very grateful that they finally closed down all of the Church's Chicken that they did and I'm glad they left the ones opened that they did because they deserve to be open. It's to my understanding that the reason they all closed was because they "were not performing to The Standard of the franchise"... Good for you to Church's Chicken!! Way to go!! This church's chicken is located directly across the street from Saint Elizabeth. I had a doctor's appointment and I was able to swing by and grab lunch. They were extremely busy! The lady that took my order was it was very polite and she took my order correctly. I chose a 3 piece spicy chicken strip meal That comes with a biscuit and a drink for my side I chose the macaroni and cheese. They also have a peach cobbler dessert. All of my food was extremely hot and fresh. The biscuits are so good there!! Absolutely love the new peach cobbler dessert. Basically they take one of their biscuits and put it in a bowl they add peaches peaches and a sweet sauce with cinnamon in it over the top of the biscuit to where it gets soft. It's really good!! I was watching all of the employees through the window and everyone was working so hard to get all of those orders out!! Great...

Pure CHAOS! When I got there I had to wait to find parking. When I walked up to place my order there was about 10 to 15 people scattered around the outside. Couldn't tell who was in line, who was waiting for their food or anything. When I finally got to the window to order I asked for the big family meal mild and mixed. It was 98 degrees but with humidity felt like 106!! They would call out and order and no one would answer and when they finally did every single person was missing and item or their order wasn't correct. When I finally got my order I was so frustrated and hot I just put the food in my car and drove home. I didn't get the family meal I had ordered. I got 9 pieces of mild all dark meat chicken. I live on tbe far west side of beaumont and the church's on calder is closer but I'll go to the one off 105...
