This is a brand new tamale business. Tamales being one of my favorite foods, I had to try them out. The place is super clean and smelled amazing when I walked in. The masa is probably some of the best I have ever eaten. It is well-seasoned and creamy. I purchased both Cream Cheese w/Jalapeño and Chicken tamales. The Cream Cheese tamales were really good and not too hot. I am not a fan of the Chicken. They weren't bad, but had an undertone of seafood and tasted nothing like chicken. No seafood is served here so I think it is just a seasoning issue for me. PSA....their sauces are HOT! They also sell out of tamales very quickly because they are all made fresh. Read moreI paid$14 for a small portion of food and I’m not happy about it. I could have gone to Taco Bell down the street, Casal Ole or a Mexican buffet in port Arthur and paid the same amount of money and gotten full. Their beans and rice is good. Their Asada tacos ate bland and they don’t have avocado sauce which every Mexican food place has. I won’t go here again and thru are down the street from my house. That’s just too much money for food that died t taste great. It’s just okay. I can see why the two times I went in there there was...
