Wow--what a disappointment!! On Thursday, 2/7/19 we arrived at 6:00 and, probably like most people, came to enjoy the company of our friends. Despite the fact that the place was almost completely full Logan, our server, did a great job of taking care of us and promptly filled our drink orders. Likewise, he also took our food orders promptly. Unfortunately, it was over an hour before we saw any food! When it arrived it was tasty—both the fries and the Saratoga chips were crisp and delicious (but the onion rings were just so-so). Unfortunately, just after we ordered a band began to play. Despite the fact that we were seated as far away from them as possible without being in the bar, they were so loud that we had to converse by yelling at each other. In fact, it was so loud that if the other person wasn’t looking directly at you, it took a touch to the arm to garner their attention. Even worse was the fact that the band had feedback all evening—that horrible screeching noise was not what we wanted to accompany our meal. The new owners removed booths, but the wall behind them (as pictured) has not been repaired. The walls – although newly repainted in black and orange -- are mostly empty. If it weren’t for all of the other issues, I could deal with that. However, there were multiple other significant issues and as our receipt verifies, we were there for a solid two hours. Trying to get and eat Bar Food. Here are my take aways: (1) Instead of reopening the day after Beef’s closed, they should have taken a beat to regroup. Patching or replacing the damaged wall, putting up artwork, etc. would make the place more appealing. (2) Either the kitchen or the kitchen staff is unable to meet the food orders for a restaurant this large and that needs to be addressed asap. (3) Although the food was good, it was bar food and no one should have to wait an hour for bar food. (4) We never saw a single manager walking around and addressing issues—at least no one approached us. If s/he had, we most certainly would have asked for the band to take a break and/or turn their speakers down. That probably wouldn't have happened, but it still would have been nice if someone asked us about our experience. (5) The new owners have the word "sports" in the title of their restaurant, but given our experience this is no longer a place where we will come to watch a game with friends. We get it. It's not Beef's any more. And we're only four of twenty or so former regular customers who have already moved their business to another place. Our absence hasn't adversely affected business, which is good--we want this local business to be successful! Bottom line: If you want to hang in a loud bar, all evening, this is your place. However, if you want to watch sports over a beer and food with family and friends, you'll need to find another venue. p.s. I reached out to the owners on 2/8 to share my concerns prior to posting this, but never received a response.

My group of 8 came on a Thursday for Trivia night for the first time. My first complaint is that I called ahead of time to ask what the recommended time was to arrive to ensure a table for 8 and was told to be there an hour and a half early. We arrived at said recommended time, and the bar was empty and only barely started filling up when Trivia was beginning. We could have easily had our table if we arrived 15-30 mins early. It wasn't until Trivia began that tables started filling up quickly. Secondly, after the bar was filled with people, we noticed our poor server, Elizabeth, seemed completely overworked. We had really slow service, but it looked like there were only 2 waitresses on the floor, and they were running around crazy. I give mad props to ours for keeping such a positive attitude and being so kind to us still. You could tell she was trying her best. Third, the food and drinks were just bland. I had 4 of the specialty cocktails and left without even a buzz. The wings were average, and the wedges were over-fried that they could have just been potato chips at that point. Lastly, our receipts for all of us were mixed up with all of us having something on our bills that belonged to someone else. It would've been easy to say our server was bad, but after seeing her constantly on her feet running between tables, it was easy to understand how mistakes happened. Trivia itself was definitely fun, but if there were improvements to the food, drinks, and service (more help), the experience would have been so much better. I wish I could say we'd be back, but it overall wasn't worth the trip.

Not a very busy restaurant at all. No wait for seating at all. Service was fast and polite. The southwest rolls appeared to be from the frozen food section of Kroger and warmed up in an air fryer. The menu said 4 southwest rolls, but it was really 2 rolls cut in half to make 4 really small ones. They were good, a bit on the doughy side. The chicken fingers were small and didn't come with sauce on them. It came on the side. They were just ok. The boneless chunks came with the sauce on them. They were just ok as well. The pizza was horrible! No taste. The French fries are freaking awesome!! They are great.

AWFUL! AVOID! Our party of 4 adults went here on a Tuesday evening. It took 30 minutes for a waitress to get to our table to take our drink and app order. Our drinks took another 20 minutes to make it to our table, at which time we ordered food. 2 MORE hours went by, other tables that were there after us were getting their food (and some had finished eating it), and then we finally got our food. It was STONE COLD and GROSS. All of it. There was not ONE warm - semi-warm, kind of warm, or even used-to-be warm food item in the whole lot. It was all as if it just came out of the refrigerator. Literally. When we complained to the waitress (another 10 minutes or so before she made it back over), she shrugged her shoulders. We told her we were leaving and not paying for the food because it was inedible. She then started to complain about the owners of the restaurant. Over 3 hours of our time wasted, and we still needed to have dinner. ZERO service recovery happened here - it was not even attempted.

We ended up leaving and going to another restaurant. When we got to the other restaurant, the waitress said she heard nothing but bad things about Wings. This was our first and last visit here.

This place is a joke. It's painfully obvious the owners don't care, nor do the rest of the staff. If they put as much effort into actually running the restaurant as they do in driving it into the ground, they could have a good thing. I'll be super surprised if this place lasts...
