Hands-down some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. Took my kids there for their birthday cones since their birthdays are only a few days apart. I hadn't realized that the toddler's birthday certificate actually expired the day before. The Asian woman working there took the certificates and barked at our older child, "WHAT YOU WANT?!?!?!" and then told our little one "NO ICE CREAM FOR YOU!" Our little one was in tears. I can't believe she wouldn't have at least asked us to pay for one of them before telling our child he couldn't get his birthday cone. In the meantime, she kept barking at our other child, "WHAT YOU WANT, WHAT YOU WANT?!?!" The older child, seeing his little brother so upset, was so stunned he couldn't think straight. We told the lady it was only one day off and asked if he couldn't get his birthday ice-cream and she said "NO. TOO LATE". It was a horrible, rude experience and this for two little boys who both were there to celebrate their birthdays no less!!! I took the certificates back, let the witchy woman know we would never, ever buy there again, and went to the BR by Powell's (which is no longer there). There were two workers there and we told them about the experience we had just had on Walker. They told us that they get a lot of complaints about the Walker store. They apologized profusely and not only gave us both boys' birthday cones, but sundaes for the adults as well. We were loyal customers of this BR until they closed. I would rather drive many miles out of my way than give the Walker store a dime. I, for one, still value good customer service, and am a loyal customer when I am treated well. I dont know which part of the asia may japanese or korean. Rude owners. The ice cream are good but the service is sucks. It seems that the asian owner are not happy to have this business and dont know to smile or even greet the customers. I want to tried the ice cream before i will buy it and seems like the asian guy is not happy. I asked him for a cup but customers need to pay $.50 cents per cup. wow!what a surprised 0.05 cents for a cup what a greedy owner. The ice cream is pretty expensive anyway. I rather buy a half gallon of ice cream at the store in new season atleast its organic! The one lady behind me got a really bad experienced, she is so happy and went out mad of that store. The lady told him a flavor of an ice cream but its not available instead the owner said there is many chocolate flavor on that side why you dont look and choose! he is pretty mad. And at the end of the lady told him i dont want to come back in your store and the guy said with confident and boastful attitude , (fine, go ahead, if that is what you like!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. After placing an order for 2 cakes, they accidentally placed the picture on the wrong cake and wrote the wrong name. Instead of correcting the name and apologizing, the woman owner began berating me in front of a room full of customers. She was screaming at me, had her fingers and hands in my face, and walked around throwing things in the store. She then called her husband to come to the store and continued to scream at me and get in my face. This whole situation could have been avoided by simply apologizing and correcting the name. The store was unapologetic, disrespectful and the most unprofessional business I’ve ever seen. I told them we shouldn’t even have to pay for the cakes after receiving such horrible service.
