This is a restaurant that I cannot support. I brought my family for a nice dinner out and left with a very bad taste in my mouth when I found out that although the restaurant had current coupons out through "Entertainment" coupon book they were no longer excepting it do to a change in ownership. I've lived in Beaverton for 15 years and never knew this restaurant existed until I saw the coupon. The offer was enticing enough to get me to check it out although I am a regular patron on "Raul's Mexican Restaurant which has been my favorite for years. I am a business owner and know that when you buy a business, you buy all of it, not just what you find convenient or beneficial at the time of purchase. Active advertising is being utilized at this restaurant to lure customers in, but rather than being grateful for the chance to earn your business, they decline receipt of their own published offer and asked you if you saw the hand written 8 1/2 by 11 paper pinned behind the cash register that says they don't except the coupon anymore . In advertising it's called "bait and switch" and it's illegal. Regardless of whether they have good food or nice service I cannot support a business who's ownership lacks any sense of honesty and integrity. Beware out there. If you see a coupon with their logo, name and address you should expect it's not worth the paper it's...

I witnessed the interaction below with Jason. I must say, he was one of the rudest customers I have ever seen! He was extremely demanding, and quite threatening. I don't think it was necessary for Jason to follow the employee around while shouting at him about something he had NO CONTROL over. In fact, he stepped in front of me while the employee helped me, to continue to complain and shout. The employee that dealt with him did great, and kept his cool. It's unfortunate that the coupon is no longer being accepted, but it is clearly posted as soon as you walk in. He gave the impression that he saw the sign earlier, but waited until the end of the meal to ask about it.

Sir, you may be a business owner but that does not mean you know everything and can act that way to a fellow human being. If you think that your negative review is going to close down the restaurant (as you loudly exclaimed for all to hear several times), you are mistaken. They should be lucky to never have you as a customer again.

Maria Bonita's food is fantastic, and their...

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by approximately four families eagerly awaiting their food. After being seated, a gentleman entered the restaurant and, to our surprise, the server promptly attended to him, taking his order and serving his drink without even inquiring about our beverage preferences. Furthermore, throughout our dining experience, we observed the server repeatedly walking past plates of food ready to be served without addressing them promptly.

To make matters worse, it took us over 20 minutes to receive our drinks and over 30 minutes just to be provided with napkins. What's more, upon my arrival, I specifically requested to be seated in a particular section, only to be informed that it was closed. However, to my dismay, subsequent customers who arrived were promptly seated in the exact seats I had initially requested. This glaring disparity in treatment left us feeling utterly disappointed with the unfairness of the service provided, and overall, the dining experience was nothing short...

Me and my boyfriend came together looking for a Authentic Mexican place. My boyfriend got the enchilada plate with beans & rice it was alright to me but he liked it. I got the menudo which is hard to make because I remember my aunt having to buy it from one restaurant in California. I might have tried the wrong plate but my menudo plate was big but was not what I thought it was going to taste like it needed more flavor or spice. I was disappointed in my menudo because it was 20 dollars and I didn’t eat half of it because it didn’t taste right to me. I was hoping for some Tapatio or Valentina sauce to help the menudo but there wasn’t any. The staff was friendly and I really liked the homemade tortillas reminded me of making homemade tortillas with my grandpa. I love the decorations all around the restaurant beautiful. My drink was delicious and big which I really liked non alcoholic.

So we where seated promptly. Our orders where taken right away. We ordered a Horchata my husband didn’t like his horchata. I ordered a Shirley Temple. The ST was not of my liking so I ordered a Jarritios drink. Had no problems or bad reactions he gladly switched. We proceeded to order food. Chips and salsa came and it was good a bit bland. Not spicy. Wet burrito was bland lots of cheese very little beans. The sauce could have been better on burrito it was like spaghetti O’s sauce. I ordered SHRIMP CEVICHE was spelled wrong on menú. Was good but lacked juice so I asked for lime and added hint of salt. My fork was dirty so I asked for a new one. So check your utensils. Would we go back no. Clean atmosphere but ceiling was dirty with dust. Establishment was small.

Here we are, 1st time at Maria Bonita Mexican grill. The food was hot and the portions were nice. The corn tortillas are and were freshly made. I had the "carnitas de puerco" plate, there was a lot of meat but it was so fatty that it was hardly edible, flavor was good. The "Pollo a la crema" plate , the sauce was very flavorful, however there was only 2 small pieces of chicken. We also had the "enchilada verde" it was okay. The mugs of pop were large and over sized that was nice. The strawberry margarita was so salty you couldn't taste the fruit. I didn't even have to use the salt on the rim. Not sure if there was alcohol in it. The customer service was great. But at the end of it all I definitely would not return.
