Checking in there's a small window with a doorbell button. The lobby is locked at night and the window has a small area at the bottom where you slide your ID, payment, etc under the window. Right then I knew this wasn't a safe place.
Locks on the door weren't secure. First room I was assigned wasn't cleaned up -- the bed was unmade and the room key was sitting on the nightstand. I was worried someone was going to come walking out of the bathroom. Also the first room was way more updated than the one they gave me after I came back with a picture of the room. Reading other reviews for this motel it looks like this is a regular thing. I almost feel like they punished me for not just keeping the uncleaned. Picture below.
Got another dirty room that the heater didn't work. The room reeked of cigarette smoke to the point I had to take a Zyrtec just to breathe. Picture of ashes by the bed below.
Amenities on Google say there's "Kitchens in every room". Um no there's not.
The room across from me constantly had people coming and going. It looked like a permanent residence with a hanging on the door. No idea why so many people were coming and going all night. Oh, wait.
I've never had a room when I looked up had something sprayed all over it above the bed. I don't even want to guess what it was.
Upon check in I was handed a list of rules. I started to read it and the employee said some rules don't apply. Like the top one which said don't plug more than X number of things into the outlets by the bed. Or, no smoking in the rooms. So maybe they should update those rules?
I felt really unsafe and will caution anyone thinking about staying there. There's hotels less than a block from there that don't have the check-in that protects the employee from gunshots and obviously are probably more safe.

Read moreHi I’m from outta town my job transferred me up here at a last minute so I get up to Beaverton kinda late your business were so nice to me helped me with my things up stairs . The third day I was getting out to my car early n the morning pouring rain my car wouldn’t start . A gentleman and young lady came over tried to give my car a jump wouldn’t work . I was trying to call a cab well the two people said hey we can give you a ride to work . They gave me a ride to work I wasn’t even late because of them . To make the story short so for the next three day they gave me rides to work. I had my car towed away and fixed . Thank you so much . Come to find out those two people that wouldn’t take a single penny work for the hotel. Their names were Corey ( hers) and his name was Todd. They went outta there way for me and were so nice and helped me out with getting to work and didn’t have to that is far and beyond good customer service . I was a wreck and because of those two they made my stay up here in Beaverton very good . I work in a restaurant and with people you don’t find people like them at all today . I wish I could do something for them . You have some good people all around who work there. Very friendly . The outter and inner of the building g is clean and not run down I never saw any thing shady going on and I keep weird hours . I read the other reviews those are hurtful and out to cause issues . Their re people out there that are so unhappy with their life’s that they wouldn’t see anything positive if it hit them in the face they go outta their to cause problems for others it empowers them . Crazy . I will be back when I have to return again to work up there again . You have a great crew I wouldn’t change them no matter what anyone says . Assistant manager of Twiller, Plaza. Read moreFirst day, they gave us a room that was not even cleaned at all - towels all over the place, bedding wasn't made (plus the fact that it has fresh "poop-like" crumbs and stains on the sheets). We had to wait for an hour and all they did was replace the towels and bed sheets. They left the used soaps and sachets of used shampoos and did not even empty the trash bin. Second day, they moved us to another room they say is "upgraded". Yes the carpet looks new and everything else looks ok until I had to use the bathroom. The toilet bowl moves when you sit down and it rocks with you, and you have to lift the bathroom door to close it. By the way, there was no microwave in the room so I requested for one. They gave us one that doesn't even work. When we were about to sleep, i was going to lock the door and it won't even lock. About over two hours after we left, the owner called and said that we took their two pillows. First we're not thieves. Second, why the he'll would anyone be interested in taking their pillow (their pillows looks like cheap cushions stuffed in a pillowcase). As to why we chose to stay? The other places that's within our budget are fully booked already. We payed 70sh on the first day. We checked out to look for another place but to no avail didn't find any. We went back and we were offered lower price ($66) and same room since we're returning customers so we took it. After a few minutes they realized the room's already taken so they offered upgraded room with a higher rate, we still took it since its already getting late. The next day, they said the rate is $104! I am no way paying that much for that...
