Mazatlan Restaurant — Restaurant in Beaverton

My wife and I used to go here all the time. Quality of the food has recently gone downhill. We usually both order Deluxe Burrito Manadero which was charged at $22 each.

The price has gone up considerably, but the quality was disturbing. Mine was ordered with ground beef, and there was perhaps a teaspoon of beef in the entire burrito. My wife’s had a little more shredded beef, but still very little.

We took pictures of the food as they were essentially gigantic rice burritos for over $40. I sent these pictures in with my explanation to the restaurant via Facebook Messenger. The icon showed me that my message was read, yet no one bothered to respond to us.

This is the second bad experience recently we have had with this restaurant. And we have quite frankly had it. I am tired of being taken for a fool here. To give them over $40 and have them give us back rice burritos is insulting.

My wife and I recently discovered a wonderful Mexican restaurant called Si Senior and the quality and customer service is completely completely unmatched.

Please do yourself a favor and stop giving money to Mazatlan. The integrity of this restaurant is currently diminished.

Worst experience ever! The older gentleman, waiter, working on Sunday night is the worst waiter we’ve ever met in our entire lives. We came in in the middle of our DoorDash shift. They have a quick little snack and because we weren’t buying big meals from him so he figured he’s not going to get a big tip. He treated us like garbage he kept insulting us for how small of a meal we were purchasing, denied us chips and salsa, and wanted to charge us for everything we left without eating!
