I ate here several times when the restaurant first opened and the owner was wonderful. Best spot I went to. Hard working and attentive to her customers. A+ restaurant with great food, but I came about a month later today and was disappointed. The staff at the restaurant are negligent and inattentive. When we were seated, the waitress tossed the menu on the table and left immediately. While walking to serve a customer, she would immediately walk back to the register and sit on her phone rather than look at her surroundings to check on other customers. I waited for about 10 minutes before having to get up and calling the waitress to place my order. The food was mediocre compared to when they first opened to where I wouldn’t recommend it. While we were eating, I wanted salt and would try to wave down a server but all they would do is walk with the robot, serve the customer and dart right to the back without checking on other customers. Later I wanted extra rice and had to walk up to the register, where lo and behold, the waitress was chilling on her phone not caring about her job/customers. I had to say excuse me for her to notice me. After eating, we waited for the check but again, waitress was behind the register chilling on her phone. I paid for the bill and asked for the receipt. She literally pointed at the receipt printed out from her side and wanted me to reach over to grab it. I grabbed it and that was the last straw for me to write this review. I hope the owner corrects this to upkeep the standard which was top notch food...
Read moreWe had not been to the former teriyaki place in a long time and found that it had been turned into a beautiful Korean restaurant. We had the Stir Fried Glass Noodle (chap chae) and the Stir Fried Udon. It was the first time I have ever had banchan with pork cutlet, and it was so good that it could have been served as a main dish. Everythings was delicious, but the udon was a bit salty for us, but with the rice that came with the chap chae, it was very tasty. We will try other dishes again.🤤
1/23/2024 I thought the Steamed Egg was a soup underneath, but the fluffy egg was very satisfying, not only on the surface, but throughout, it had a firm meringue-like texture. The Seasoned Chicken is served as a standalone dish and does not come with rice, but I think it would be delicious with rice as it has a strong flavor.
1/31/2024 Hot Pot Bulgogi: Tastes like sukiyaki, with plenty of beef, and the soup is not too thick. It was delicious. Stone Pot Bibimbap: Loaded with vegetables and slightly bold in flavor, which complemented the rice well. I felt the meat portion was...
Read moreThis was the best Korean food I've had so far in the States. The side dishes were excellent — simple, light, and refreshing. We especially appreciated the pickled chilies, a special treat offered by the server, who delivered attentive, warm, and truly exceptional service throughout our entire meal.
All the appetizers and entrées we tried were outstanding, delivering bold flavors without being overly seasoned. The Kimchi Pork Rib Soup was a highlight. Instead of tasting only of kimchi, the broth had a layered, well-rounded flavor, likely enhanced by additional ingredients (I was tasting a hint of tomato paste?) making it more complex and very appetizing. The Bibimbap and Kimchi Pork Pancakes were also delightful in texture and flavors, and had nice presentations. Portions were generous.
Overall, an excellent dining experience that showed great care in both cooking and hospitality. Too bad we discovered this place in the last day of our...
