I’ve ordered food from this place three times. Every time, I order street chicken tacos with no onions. (Street tacos usually come seasoned, with cilantro and onions) the first time, I received plain, unseasoned chicken only, in a corn tortilla. The cilantro was not added even though I only requested to remove onions. The second time, the order was correct. The third time, tonight, they forgot half of our order, and the chicken was unseasoned again (but with cilantro this time). I called to complain after getting a refund from GrubHub because why on EARTH would you NOT SEASON THE CHICKEN ? I was told over the phone that the managers tell their cooks they aren’t allowed to season the meat. Safe to say I will never order food from here again. Also, we did take a bite of the taco just to see if it was any good, and it wasn’t.

I’m just going to say this… this might be hands down the best taqueria in Portland. We went there to try the Al Pastor because they do it on a spits (the authentic way of doing it) and holy you know what! The flavors are incredible! Ended up getting 3 things on the menu (Al Pastor burrito, Torta and a Veggie burrito) and all where do good. The 3 hot sauces they have did not disappoint also.

I'm blown away by this place. Awesome spot tucked away on the corner of 170th and TV Hwy. Tonight was my first time there and I got their Al Pastor burrito. They do Al Pastor the right way! The pork has a little char/crispiness to it and they use pineapple -- two very important factors I've found in my journies with Al Pastor. I'll be back for sure.

First time I visited this place. I had read they had al pastor tacos and the meat was cooked on a spit so I was excited to try since that's not a common method used in this area.

I ordered two tacos and an horchata and was given a buzzer to let me know when food would be ready. Waited over 20 minutes for my order and I noticed a person who ordered after me was given his food. I asked the cashier what the ETA was and he said my food had been ready for awhile. I told him the buzzer didn't go off and he rudely replied that they had made the buzzer go off. No apology, just made me feel like it was my fault. I took my food and asked where the salsa was and was told it was in the bag. The bag was tied in a knot and I couldn't see through it. They didn't ask what type of salsa I wanted and just gave me a small red salsa.

Sat down and tried my tacos. The meat was way greasier than a traditional al pastor taco would be. The flavor wasn't great. The salsa was ok. The tortillas didn't hold the taco well and weren't fresh. I wasn't necessarily expecting a freshly made tortilla but there are so many places in the area that have them so this doesn't set them apart.

The horchata was ok...a little too sweet but it was alright.

I will not be coming to this...

Had to leave work early because the food (I got a quesadilla w/ rice and beans) gave me terrible stomach cramps. The beans were not cooked well (they were hard). The horchata was flavorless, and it had a strange texture. On my quesadillas they used that cheap cheddar and mozzarella mix. I rarely give bad reviews, but I missed out on a whole days pay because something isn’t being done right here. And they’re incredibly overpriced. Next time, I will drive the extra 4 minutes to the much better and cheaper taco trucks down the road next to big lots. ( This is also my second bad experience. The first time they overcharged my card by like 5 dollars. Didn’t review because things happen and they gave me a soda to try and make up for it) In their defense, the man who took my order was very friendly and so...
