I wasn’t sure what exactly was wrong with my phone, but suspected the power button, so I went to Goodies. Sergio figured out it was the likely problem and started looking for the replacement part. He has a vast supply of existing parts for most phones, but mine was obscure. After some searching online, he located a replacement part in a nearby state and got it in two days. He made the complex solder repair within hours of receiving the part, and I was back in business right then. Fully functioning, good as new. Total turnaround for the full fix was less than two days. What a relief. I had even managed to clumsily wreck my battery without realizing it, but Sergio had a spare and replaced it for no charge.

The problem with my phone wasn’t obvious, so Sergio even offered to waive the labor cost if he couldn’t fix it (although the labor cost is surprisingly inexpensive).

Trusting someone with your phone and all your accounts and data that are on it is a big risk, and the tech repair industry can seem shady. Sergio is a trustworthy and capable businessman, making an honest dollar while keeping your cost as low as possible. I’ll go to him now any time I feel tempted to open my case.

I originally went to Goodies Cell Phone Shop because after 4 months of not using my iPhone 5s I could not get it to charge or even turn on. The ownier was super cool and professional. He explained the possible causes for the problem and listed the different solutions he could try, the estimated time each would take, and how much each different outcome could cost me. Then he let me choose what to do! He got my phone working quickly. I had just moved back to the U.S. from Mexico so I needed a new phone number. He got me hooked up quick and even knocked a few bucks off the repair since I was getting a chip and new number from him. Since then I have bought chargers from him, made monthly service payments at his shop, took my iPhone back to him when the screen got spidered, and I am planning on going back soon to get my wife a new phone number too. Oh ya, when my screen cracked and had to be replaced I asked about a screen protector so he once again discounted some money off the repair since I was getting the screen protector from him as well. The owner was very helpful. My phone was spontaneously restarting and freezing. I had already gone to Verizon multiple times, the Samsung support store twice, and spoken with Samsung costumer service on the phone but no one could fix my phone. I went into goodies and described what my phone was doing and I had done to fix it so far and right away they were able to tell me what was wrong with my phone and give me an estimate of cost.
