I truly hate writing bad reviews and would like to give benefits of the doubt to people but just the amount of disrespect here was just too much for me not to write a review. I cane with a small group of friends when there was no one in the restaurant. I ordered a fried kimchi pork bento. A rather simple order or so I thought. So after I waiting 35 minutes for my simple order and after all my friends are close to finishing their food I looked around and there’s not 1 but 2 tables that were filled after us all half way through their food while I continue to wait. When I asked what’s going on they simply just tell me it’s on the way. To tell me I have to wait almost 40 minutes for grilled kimchi and pork over rice is one thing but once I finally got my food I couldn’t help but just laugh at the amount of pork they gave me. A tiny corner of pork with all fried kimchi and rice just to top off my great experience. Truly I couldn’t have picked a worse place. To wait as long as I did to only leave not even remotely with a full stomach and not an apology from any staff members is just so laughable a place like this has such a high rating. I’m sorry for any future people who need to endure...
Read moreI have passed by this place several times and per a comment made by a friend I thought o would check out the food. Greeted by a very pleasant gentleman as he is busily packing take out orders and taking orders to tables. The place is small and the small kitchen is busy. I decide to order the soondubu with pork. He takes the order and in 10mins serves me a piping hot clay pot with a fresh cracked egg. He brings a metal bowl of rice and a side of kimchi. the kimchi was perfectly fermented for my taste and the soondubu had the right amount of spice. They have combo plates but what would be nice is if they offered a galbi and soondubu combo. I will have to to say tue soondubu didn't leave me thirsty and my tongue wasn't numb, like another place i tried. if your in need of a Korean food fix i would recommend giving it a try. i will be back with the family to try some of the other dishes. will provide a follow up as i try...
Read moreBusy little Korean restaurant with a nice selection of bentos to customize and traditional Korean food. We had several dishes including the beef yakisoba, beef soondubu jjigae, a generous side of kimchi, and steamed mandu. Everything was delicious! The service was great despite being super busy with to-go orders but that's not an issue as they keep things moving with a giant tablet where you can order and pay by card for dine-in or takeout. We liked it so much that my teenager ordered a second lunch and lunch for his dad, the spicy chicken/bulgogi bento and the chicken/galbi bento. There were several options for me even with my dietary restrictions. The kpop playing on TV is a nice touch. We'll definitely be visiting...
