Came here a few days ago and the employee took my payment card and quickly rang me up while talking constantly (Would you like to leave a tip? Would you like a straw? Would you like a bean?). After they handed my card back I asked if the purchase would count towards my rewards and was told that no it wouldn't. I asked if it was too late to add the purchase to my rewards and was told "yeah" accompanied by shoulder shrugs and a smirk. After this conversation the employee then asked me again if I needed a straw (they already gave me one) and asked me again if I wanted a bean (I had already said no).
To recap; Human Bean did not ask me upfront if I wanted to use my rewards, did not allow me a reasonable opportunity to use my rewards, did not offer any solutions to help make the situation right, and were forgetful about questions they asked me 30 seconds ago. But hey, as usual they somehow didn't forget to hustle for the tip.
As for the coffee quality it was middle of the road and overpriced. Furthermore, it's no surprise that their windmill competition up the road often has steady lines at least 10 cars deep, while this place had 0 when I arrived. I won't be back and deleted the...
Read moreI visited the drive thru today and purchased one 16oz. Nitro Cold Brew with vanilla flavor and topped with oat milk, a drink I regularly purchase here. Normally no more than $5.00, Grubhub delivery for this place states it would be $4.70. I presented my payment card to the girl working the drive thru window and she ran my card and after swiping it told me my total was a round $8.00. When I questioned the price the girl could not give me a direct answer as to why my drink had almost double in price and had to refrain from laughing as they played with their drive thru headset and informed me there was someone being very distracting and talking to them from the other headset in the store. The whole experience is like nothing I’ve ever had before with The Human Bean, but I know for a fact I will not be spending any more money here or at any other location. The coffee was mediocre at best, and advertised in their drive thru for under $4.00. Hope the $3.00 tip the baristas authorized on my card against my will helps pay...
Read moreI wanted to love this place again, but unfortunately, it doesn't deserve a five-star review. The reason is, when a human being first opened up, the first one I believe is in Wilsonville Oregon, the coffee was great and it was and tastes like real coffee, fast forward 3 years later and it tastes like something out of Dutch Brothers, it doesn't taste like real coffee. It's s over sweet and to be honest the menu options borning, there's no variety except for the same thing, the snowy mocha, Mexican mocha and your average mocha there's no new selections and that makes it a boring experience. If you are looking for a good coffee, I would recommend Cowboys coffee and Newberg, they make amazing coffees and they have more than three varieties, in addition to that I would recommend a mom and pop shop, that sells coffee, but I would not recommend the human bean anymore, because I was a big fan when they first came out and now they just taste like Dutch Brothers, which is not one of the places I...
