Drove to this park today to check out the BMX track. The first thing that stuck out to me was that there really isn't any parking. It's right next to a very busy road on one side, apartments on the other, a fire station on the 3rd, and then acommunity street where you can park. The second thing is that there is no public restroom here which was an area of need for one of my family members. The park itself consists of two portions: a grassy area with a play structure that some families were enjoying and the BMX bike park. My son enjoyed riding the BMX portion. I give it three stars due to it having no parking and no bathroom. The BMX park was enjoyable, but not as nice as some of the other bike parks...
Read moreWomen, young riders and those with disabilities are intimidated, bullied, harassed and told to leave the dirt jumps by private corporate club members now contracted by the city to run the park. The first jump is way too close to the starting hill, effectively keeping women, youth and riders without the strength to pump it from enjoying the rest of the course, which looks like fun, and has greatly improved the last two months, but is inaccessible for the general population now. Get rid of the first jump, then everyone can ride it again. Make Eichler Park Rad Again! Let Women ride too! Come on you...

The park needs a few more benches and picnic tables to be comfortable for play dates and family stuff. There were only two and not close to the play structure so we were standing around while the kids played. There is quite a bit of shade so that’s nice. The structure itself is a little small so my boys (2&4) were entertained but not for long.
The pump track definitely needs work, it’s maintained by volunteers, but it’s great for kids getting started. Happy to see small rollers and some big drops when the confidence is gained. Open to mountain bikes...
