5 STAR EXPERIENCE!
I cannot say enough about my experience with Nawal Maysi when it came to eventually purchasing my first Porsche. By the time I had decided on the 2023 Cayenne GTS as my next SUV, I researched all options and finally built out my GTS how I wanted it. It was after the new model had just started taking builds and it seemed like there would be enough overlap for me to still get the GTS but after a few days, that ability was gone. My focus then shifted on finding a 2023 CPO GTS that had all the options I could've live without and in 1 of 3 exterior and exterior colors. Constantly checked the Porsche CPO site and finally after about 4 months, one popped up matching most of my criteria. Despite being in Los Angeles, I immediately reached out to Porsche Beaverton where I was put in touch with Nawal. I had found the car right as they got it and before the CPO cert had been done. Over the course of about a week, I emailed with Nawal probably 30 times (I even apologized a few times for what I began to suspect was an absurd number of questions I had asked). Since I'd be flying to see it last minute once it was ready and having to stay a few days in Portland, It was very important for me to make sure I had all the information I could gather and have no surprises).
Nawal was incredibly enthusiastic and answered ALL my questions quicker than I would've expected with obviously extensive knowledge of the specific model and specific car. A problem I had was once the 2023 builds stopped being taken, I couldn't build out a GTS to see which options had levels of options or what I might be missing which is why I was asking so many questions. I couldn't use the build tool as a resource anymore, especially since the 2024 was vastly different and fortunately Nawal understood this and helped clarify everything for me.
I have purchased a car out of state before (something that's a real pain if you live specifically in CA) and the previous experience was with a SA who was clearly frustrated that I was asking lots of questions and questioned me about whether I was really interested in the car or not. I should've walked away but the deal was too good. Nawal was the opposite of that experience and I felt extremely comfortable dealing with her via email and eventually a few calls once the car was ready and I had to make travel plans. Once in Portland, a car was sent to pick me up up from the hotel and after arriving and chatting a bit about the car, I took it out and knew it was the right choice. We had already discussed purchase options and the pros and cons of cash vs finance so once I knew this was the one, it was very smooth getting me out the door with the GTS. Would've been faster, but I talk a lot. I appreciated Nawal and Porsche of Beaverton holding this car while I made my travel arrangements, and the entire experience was as easy as possible for an out of state buyer.
This is not hyperbole, but Nawal is the best sales associate I've had in my years of buying cars. Since my first car in my teens to present, I seemed to always end up with SA who was a middle-aged man with very little knowledge of the specific car/model who was mostly polite but generally indifferent and kind of going through the motions up to the agreement when they'd then disappear, and the financial person or manager would swoop in and finish everything. A few times, I never saw the SA again. I've had SAs that would answer my specific questions with very generalized replies or even non sequitur answers and I'd usually assume they didn't do any research on the car prior to my arrival or test drive. I've had patronizing approaches from SAs that I didn't appreciate. Nawal is easily both the youngest SA I've dealt with and the most knowledgeable and enthusiastic--by a mile. Everyone I dealt with at Porsche of Beaverton was very nice, very detailed in any answer and it was the least stressful experience I've had buying a car despite this being the most expensive purchase I've made.
I cannot recommend Nawal enough to anyone in the market...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wished I could give it 0 star if I could. This is my 2nd Porsche, (Cayenne) in 3 years. The 1st one, Panamera gave me a really good driving experience as well as really, really great service. Even the Panamera had some small issues, and the battery was dead after just 4000 miles. Porsche fixed all those issues quickly and Amy really did a great job. However, since Amy was promoted to the manager (congrat!). The service quality dropped dramatically. I had 2 services with Porsche Beaverton for my Cayenne in the past couple months. 1 for car detail, 1 for brake check & 1st maintenance. For my 1st service, the detail. I also asked some questions regards to the tires, and brakes. I got response back after hours, and even no response until I asked again. Ummm, busy is NOT an excuse, Everyone is busy. You are PORSCHE. What makes Porsche luxury brand? Not only the cars, also the high standard of the service. I am NOT only paying for the car, but service. I really enjoyed both the car and the service, so I got my 2nd Porsche. I did not expect service quality dropped this much, so quickly. The car detail appointment was done nicely eventually despite the delay or no response. THEN...I had my car service again on 9/16 (brake check, and 10000 mile maintenance) via valet service. Car was returned on 9/17 (again, I needed to keep asking and called Porsche to know the status of my car). I did not drive the car until 9/18, when I was about to my appointment. Then I realized the car was dead. After I unlocked the car by my key, sat in my car, the instrument cluster was not on (no digital lights on), and the back trunk could not be opened. Based on my Panamera experience, the battery was dead, again. This happened AFTER THEY SENT THE CAR BACK TO ME. I called Porsche Beaverton from 12:19pm all the way to 6:00 till they were closed. NO SERVICE ADVISOR picked up the call nor NO ONE called me back, IN 6 HOURS. I asked the front desk, they had 1 service advisor, and 1 service assistant on Sat. BUT NO ONE responded to me in 6 ours. SERIOUSLY? Is what Porsche supposed to be like? The car was returned dead and nobody was available in half of a day. I missed my appointment, and my schedule completely messed up because of the service of Porsche. I do not how Porsche service quality dropped this much in just 1 year or less. But I know that my next car WOULD NOT BE PORSCHE ANYMORE. I am really tired of the last 2 experiences with their service. TOO MUCH!
Updated 9/21/21: Callum from the service team stepped up and finally figured out the reason of my dead Cayenne. He valued my time, and had...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat an unetherical this place is. Women Porsche owners alert! Every time you go in there they will convince you all the additional services you need. The last 2 times my wife went in for an oil change. They end up talking her into doing the 3-year tune-up at 28k miles for $1600. then a year later they ended up talk her into 30k mile tune up for $2200 when the car was at 33k miles. The very last time she went in for an oil change, they end up doing another 20k/2yr tune-up for $1300. Which she specifically said she just want an oil change. Not like an oil change that this place is cheap, it's $350. You can tell this is one of those dealerships that take advantage of women. Which there is a lot of those out there. a few years ago they talk her into a brand new set of tires for $3600 when there is 30% treads left. But they told her āits not wise to drive with these tires during the winter conditionsā my wife put 2-3k miles in her car at the most each year, they just love talk her into these ātune-upsā or AKA āmaintenance serviceā. Actually she didn't authorize the 2yr tune up last time she went in, but they end up doing the 2yr tune up and charging us for it anyway. She knew they will try to do this to her, so she especially told them āI just want to do the oil Change, nothing elseā. And yet they still end up doing a 2yr maintenance service for $1300. When we try to escalate the issue with the manager, we got a call from a random service advisor to get our statement and never called us back. Now she rather drive 3 hour to the Porche dealership in Bend then go to these guys ever again. We can't stand doing business that are so unethical and just lie.
update: 2 weeks later, a manager from VW finally called us back. 1. as i stated, there was NOT any "video" send to us. 2. they dont have anything thing that proof i agree to the 2yr maintenance service or i signed ok with the charge. They said most people when they ask for the oil change is doing the 2yr maintenance play or the lowest service plan for $490 that includes an oil change. is their way of saying miscommunication, we just assume you wanted the 2yr service plan when we ask for an oil change. They end up refund us the difference between the $950-$490. and split 50:50 on the brakefluid change. Because i did ask them to check my brakefluid, they end up...
