If you're looking for a dining experience that will make you sick, look no further than the Bedford House of Roast Beef on Great Road. I recently visited this establishment and ended up with a severe case of food poisoning that lasted for days. It was a nightmare, to say the least.

The restaurant's lack of hygiene standards and disregard for food safety was evident from the moment I walked in. The place looked dirty, and the staff didn't seem to care about cleaning anything. The food was served lukewarm, and the meat looked undercooked and spoiled.

I ordered the roast beef sandwich, and it tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. I should have listened to my gut and stopped eating it, but I was too hungry. Big mistake! Within hours, I started feeling sick and experienced vomiting and diarrhea. The next few days were a blur of pain, discomfort, and misery.

It's appalling that this restaurant can continue to operate with such a lack of regard for its customers' health and safety. I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from the Bedford House of Roast Beef on Great Road if they value their health. Save yourself the trouble and find another...

This review pains me to write this review. My coworkers and I order from BHOB at least once a week. Normally, they’re pretty good. The past few months they have been average at best. They constantly forget items/condiments for our meals. It’s one of those things where it’s not a big enough deal to call and complain or drive back to have them fix, but it also isn’t what you ordered and can sometimes have your meal lacking.

Today, we ordered a handful of items; few sandwiches, few side, orders, etc. The roast beef sandwiches weren’t anything to write to mom about (not enough mayo or BBQ).

Then there was the onion rings… The only reason why I am writing this bad of a review is because of these onion rings. They were poorly, battered, and breaded, lacking salt, and every other bite was foul tasting. I don’t know how they could put out this bad of a side order. Pretty much ruined our meals.

I would never give a place a 1/5 star, because they have been great in the past. I am really hoping that they improve and I can update this review...

We are traveling through the area, and this restaurant was nearby. The reviews were good, and we prefer family-owned places, so we stopped in for a late dinner. Wow, you get a lot to eat with their combo meals! Their massive roast beef sandwich (meal #3) was delicious, and my husband loved his clam strips special.
