Blackbird Cafe — Restaurant in Bedford

Not sure what people are talking about on here or maybe they’ve made significant improvements since these reviews because I’ve been there twice in the past week and a half and the food was great especially the breakfast burrito. Only issue they may have is the location as the plaza is not a very busy plaza and set way back. I don’t even think a lot of people in town know the place is there I just found it the other day. As for the prices yes, definitely on the pricey side, but food in general everywhere is so it doesn’t seem much different than anywhere else. We live in Massachusetts EVERYTHING...

My first time there. I loved everything about the place so I ordered the “BLT” to go. I asked for extra crispy bacon. She said okay. If she had said that it wasn’t actual bacon (as everybody expects) rather bacon bits (probably from Costco or BJ’s) I would never have ordered that wrap sandwich. It would’ve opted for something else. It was terrible and all I could taste at first bite was the artificial ingredients. Also a smoky flavor.

I recently had the blueberry pancakes which were excellent. Lots of blueberries, very large, crispy edges. I ate one, took two home and ate an egg on the side, cooked exactly as I requested. Today I got the breakfast sandwich on the Tuscan bread which is my go to. Very good! I was told the coffee is excellent. I prefer tea which is excellent. Highly recommend Blackbird...
