Just went to Carrabba's in Bedford. Worst experience ever. Didn't mind having to wait 20 minutes to be seated, but we waited another 15 minutes until someone came to the table with a basket of bread and 2 glasses of water. She said our waitress Kelsey will be with us shortly. We waited another 15 minutes until Kelsey showed up. She apologized for the wait which we said it was ok. Then she asked us if we needed more time with the menu, nope we've been waiting a half hour so we know what we want. We placed our order, she brought our drinks out right away. Then we waited a good 20 minutes for our salad and a cup of soup. We finished them and waited a good 25 minutes for our meals. She asked us if we needed anything else and we said no we're good. I started to eat my meal and I said to my husband I don't think this is what I ordered but I continued to eat it. Kelsey never came back to our table to see how things were. About 20 minutes into the meal the manager came to our table and asked if I liked my meal, I said it was ok. Then she said well you got the wrong meal. She said I could take the correct meal home. Now if Kelsey had come by our table to check to see if everything was ok, I could have told her I didn't get the right meal, but she was to busy talking to the hostess because my husband could see her from our table. She then came by about 10 minutes after the manager came by our booth and told me the waitress had grabbed the wrong meal, all apologetic and offered us a free dessert to take home. Wasn't interested in a free dessert. Just wanted the check so we could leave. Spent 2 hours at this restaurant and didn't even get the right meal. Haven't been to a Carrabba's in 20 years, now I know why I stayed away for so long. Won't...
Read moreSkip takeout. This is the second time I ordered takeout from here that was given to me lukewarm well past the time it was promised. The only reason I gave takeout a second try is because I had a gift card with a balance on it. I ordered after 7 PM on this really cold night (1/21/25). When I arrived at the curbside pick up area, I could see that the parking lot was pretty empty so the restaurant was certainly not busy. My food was supposed to be ready at 7:25. I waited and waited in my car. Another customer came for pick up and waited and waited in his car. Finally, he got out and banged on the curbside door and lo and behold the food for both of us was magically ready at that exact point in time. When the employee brought the food to my car, I asked her if it had been sitting for long and she replied “no”. I inquired about the salad that was supposed to come with my order because she only handed me one bag. She informed me that the cold salad is packed in the same bag as the hot entrée. After she left, I opened the containers to check the temperature of the food. The entrée and salad were both lukewarm. I’m not paying nearly $30 including tax and tip for a lukewarm meal. I went inside to request a refund and had to go through three levels of interrogation. If a customer is not happy for a legitimate reason (and they haven’t even taken a bite of the food), just give them the refund! Even after the owner/manager was called over, It took about 15 minutes to process the refund. At this point, It was more than 40 minutes after the time that my food was promised. I just wanted to go home. I was given something similar to a gift card which I appreciate, but I would’ve appreciated it more if I had gotten to eat...
Read moreWe have been to Carrabba’s before and we have always enjoyed it. We decided to have an impromptu small family reunion the other night and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Accommodations were happily made for a table of 7, every dish was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed. What truly made our dining experience was our server, Maria. She was so friendly and personable to each person at our table, and took the time to explain questions we had about entrees and suggest new entrees, which three of us enjoyed per her endorsement. We were not disappointed! Everything was outstanding. I grew up in the Italian restaurant business, so I can be a little critical when dining out, however, there is no criticism being offered here. I like to order coffee prior to my meal, and the first thing Maria said was, “give me an extra minute to brew you a fresh pot” Wow! It still arrived so quickly and was one of the best restaurant cups of coffee I tasted. Waters, coffee, drinks were always filled, dinner wine was offered and explained, and ordered. Tables were clean and tidy throughout our dinner. Not one of us had to ask for ANYTHING. Nothing was forgotten or missed for our table. I asked Maria if she had just came on shift because he was so welcoming, and she told me that she had been working a full shift, our table was her last party, then she was going on vacation for 10 days. Maria took care of all of us with a smile on her face, conversation while she coordinated our orders, never rushed us, and outstanding service! Thank you Maria! We hope your vacation was awesome! Thank you, Carrabba’s for a special dinner of exceptional food and service! Highly recommended for a wonderful dinner...
