It truly saddens me to write this review, as I used to really enjoy coming to this restaurant. Unfortunately, after several disappointing experiences, I can no longer recommend it.

My first serious issue happened about three years ago during what was supposed to be a normal visit for my favorite burger and fries. At that time, the food was always great, but that day there were several teenagers running around without any supervision. One of them went through my purse and took two of my credit cards, which they later used. It was an extremely upsetting experience that I never forgot.

The second bad experience happened more recently. There were several small children running around the restaurant, throwing things, and one even ran over my foot. I kindly asked the woman who appeared to be their guardian to please keep them under control, as they were screaming and causing chaos throughout the dining area. Instead of addressing the issue, the manager approached me and said he didn’t like the way I complained, explaining that his own kids “act the same way.”

Shortly afterward, another staff member told me to leave and not to come back. Her approach was very rude and unprofessional. At that point, I had already decided I would not be returning, but the way I was treated confirmed that decision.

Because of these repeated issues with unsupervised behavior and poor management, I no longer feel comfortable dining here. It’s unfortunate because this restaurant used to be one of my favorites, and I truly hope the owners take these concerns seriously and restore the quality and atmosphere...

We were lucky enough to get a spot up front in the shopping center and walk right in. It is set up like Mighty Fine (but better!) where you walk up to order and then go sit down. The feel is very rustic American. We both ended up ordering the same burger, the West, but I added a fried egg to mine. The West has Tillamook Cheddar, roasted jalapeños and garlic-cilantro cream cheese.

The burgers come out open face. The bun to patty ratio is unparalleled, with the light, soft, buttery bun and the perfectly cooked beefy layer of meat. It was so juicy it started running down our hands, we didn't care. The flavor explosion made everything else fade away and we sat there gorging upon our savory meal. We loved that even though the jalapeños were grilled they were still spicy and how the cream cheese just set the entire burger off. The fries were ok, not the nest ever but overall good flavor. Where the fries were lacking the burgers more than made up for!

The crown jewel of our order was the brownie. It had a cookie crust on the bottom, caramel and chocolate ganache drizzle on top and was soft-baked so the inside was still gooey and melty. The flavor profile was complex and there was a finish of cinnamon perhaps in the cookie crust. We will have to order another to research further, obviously. We still need to try their shakes.

Highly recommend this place if you are a burger...

SUPER FAMILY FRIENDLY, KIND-HEARTED, SMILING and PATIENT STAFF

I was SO impressed with the quality of service, staff and food at All Star Burger. It was my first visit and we had a group of 60 people coming for burgers close to closing time on a Monday night after a volleyball game. We called ahead just to give them a heads up and they said, yes, they could accommodate a group our size and no worries that it’s close to closing time.

It’s one thing to SAY that, but it’s a whole other thing to SHOW it through the staff’s friendliness, patience and hospitality. We had a BUNCH of younger siblings ranging from 5-9 plus middle school girls and boys and the staff were smiling, kind, patient with spills and noise and a bit of craziness. I haven’t seen counter service like that in a LONG LONG time.

I don’t live close to the Hill Country Galleria but I would be willing to make the drive with my family bc of how warm and friendly the staff was.

Thank you, All Star Burger, for accommodating our huge group and serving us so well!! We will be back!!!

A huge kudos to your manager, training program, hiring and staff! Maybe you’ll be the next Chik Fil A! Come to central...

Extremely disappointing. We came in as a family with 2 kids and the cashier greeted us with “you know we are closing in like 15 min?” We nodded to understand. Once we were ready to order, the cashier continued to discourage us from ordering so we asked, “so are you unwilling to take our order?” She yelled out to whom we supposed was the manager or team leader saying “are we still taking orders?” and was given the response that “yes we take orders up until closing time.” The whole team seemed to be dragging their feet and rude. Our food was obviously rushed and wasn’t even cooked all the way, parts of the meat still cold and uncooked. There were about 15 more people after us, only maybe 2 more people getting orders in and the remaining were kicked out of the restaurant. I can understand this was close to closing but rejecting so many people, giving poor service, and delivering unsafe food is completely unacceptable. They have a sign outside asking for hiring help. I’m not surprised if the reason is for team attitude. Go at your risk. Will not be returning.

Good burgers with tons of variety. I was honestly surprised by how many different kinds of burgers were available. I ordered the Five Islands Burger which features a grilled or seared Ahi tuna patty (I ordered mine seared!), Bibb lettuce, sprouts, avocado, scallions, sesame seeds, and citrus mayonnaise. The flavors were very good together although I would probably forgo the sprouts next time as I felt the textures clashed a bit. The decor in the restaurant features a lot of American imagery which I didn’t really care for and brought to mind some things I’d rather not think about while eating. I also did not like that the cashier was wearing a Thin Blue Line hat. Good food but probably won’t return.
