When you have an issue with an employee (rhys or rheese or something He wasn't wearing a name tag), It shouldn't be hard to get the name of a manager or store owner. I was lied to several times by this man within a 3 minute period. I asked to speak to a manager and was told 1) the manager was busy. I said I was willing to wait then they said 2) the manager isn't here. I then said why did you just say the manager is busy, may I have their name? Then I was told 3) if you want to talk to a manager, come back in the morning. I asked who I would be asking for in the morning and I got no response. I asked the other two employees present who the manager was and and they silently pointed at the "rheese" guy. At this point I'm just trying to figure out the name of the store owner so I can understand the issue I had in the first place. Which was that I was told they didn't have something in stock, then the person immediately behind me in line asked for two of the same thing, the item suddenly appeared. Twice! So I asked if I could have one too and they said No! I was trying to understand why they would served the item to this lady and her kids literally right behind me in line, but they wouldn't serve me the exact same item which I asked for first. So when I asked to speak to a manager or store owner, there was suddenly no ability to recall this name. While asking for a manager, I was told that I was causing problems and should leave. At no point did I raise my voice or anything. I JUST asked for a manger while being completely demeaned by this Rhys person. While refusing to answer my question, he would say things like, "I know it's hard for you to understand" and "I know it's difficult for you to process", etc... My husband returned the following morning just to get the name of the manager and the store owner since he did say "come back in the morning if you want to talk to a manager. This Rheese guy was there and said that HE was actually the manger on duty. He then told my husband (who was audio recording) "Is this about the lady yesterday? If that's your wife, she was being rude! We have cameras!". I would just like the store owner to explain why any of this is acceptable at all. 1) Why would he serve one random customer an item while not serving another? 2) Why would your store manager lie about being the store manager? 3) Why would your store manager not disclose who to speak to in order to resolve any issues? Lastly if you are the store owner and are reading this 4) Please review the cameras and determine for yourself if this was appropriate way for a manager in charge to respond to a customer. I have contacted corporate so far and am hoping for some type of response from someone at Subway since there seems to be no accountability for customer service at...
Read moreI’d like to comment on how great the food is but it was nothing compared to the act of kindness my family and I witnessed from the employee Rodrigo. We watched an elderly couple with difficulty getting around slowly shuffle to the door. Rodrigo also noticed and hustled to open the door but it didn’t stop there. This gentleman walked them all the way to the car, lending his arm for them to hang on to for balance and security, and he opened the door and helped them get in. It is people like Rodrigo that make not only a business great but they make America great!
