Anecdote Coffee — Restaurant in Beech Grove

Our Friday "Coffee in the Park" group decamps to Silver Linings whenever the weather is bad, so we've become regulars. With rare exceptions, the baristas have always been super-friendly and welcoming. The beverages are reasonably priced and delicious--the Lavender Lemonade is to die for! The shop reminds one of the set of "Friends" with its conversational grouping of chairs and sofa, and there are plenty of books available,, as well as nicely-lighted tables with plug-ins for charging electronics. We love seeing the dogs come in for their "pup cups", and there is always a bowl of water outside for passing pets. Mocha Nut: The coffee itself was okay, nothing special, but the workers had good customers service skills. There's also a limited amount of gluten free options, potentially may come back to see if they add more or if they expand their menu. However, they turned this place from a cozy and welcoming place, where you would want to stay to a soulless millennial beige corporate h-llscape. Legit devoid of all character, a Starbucks has more. Instead of spending money on painting, they should have spent it on getting creative.

I have heard so many positive things about Silver Linings Coffee, since it opened! I'm a Beech Grove native, and moved to Arkansas in 2018. I've been jumping at the bit to visit, and had an opportunity over the Thanksgiving holiday! My husband and sisters and I visited for almost two hours!! I ordered the Honey Vanilla Latte; my husband ordered the Peppermint Mocha; and my younger sister ordered a hot chocolate. We all enjoyed our drinks! The atmosphere is eclectic and nostalgic! There are pictures and memorabilia around the shop that are centered around Beech Grove. The Silver Linings Coffeehouse team was courteous and professional.
