Scarlet Lane Brewing Beech Grove — Restaurant in Beech Grove

My family dined in the dining room on 6/14. We ordered half and half of two of their specialty pizzas and an order of breadsticks. While their beer is worth a visit, the service and price certainly leaves a sour taste in yoir mouth. The dining room only had one other family. We waited for the breadsticks which never came out. We had to ask for silverware and plates when the pizza came out and asked about the breadsticks but did not receive a response from one of the ladies. When another man/possibly manager came to ring us up, he did not offer any apology and we had to request the breadsticks be taken off as we had never received them. After saying he would comp something or give a discount, we did not notice until in the car on the electronic receipt that they had charged us for every single ingredient of their specialty pizzas. The toast screen did not show an itemized bill when checking out and in spite of the mix up we still left a decent tip. We called back to ask why we were charged or never explained that they can’t do half and half unless each ingredient is charged. The manager said the owner would call back. We explained this was our very first visit to Scarlet Lane. They were given time to call and correct the issue but didn’t or at least didn’t leave any voicemail. Needless to say, for the price, Giordanos or Greeks Pizza or one of the numerous other options will be getting our money. Scarlet Pizza was mediocre at best and customer service apathetic. Nice 80s decor however...

So disappointed that Beech Grove Pizza Company is no longer the same as it was when it first opened. When they first opened, we were so excited to have a new option for Pizza in Beech Grove! The pizza was on point every time we ordered. I even referred it to my kids, who had just moved here in April, and they loved it. But last night was a sad experience and poor customer service that made us decide we won't be going back. We ordered a large cheese pizza and 2 order of bread sticks with extra sauces. The pizza had rubbery werid cheese and the bread sticks were cold, hard, small and looked like someone broke them before placing them in the box, plus we were missing the extra sauces we had paid for. When my husband went back to say something, the employee acted like he could care less, didn't even apologize and said that's how they make them now. So we just asked for a refund and went to 5th Ave Bar & Grill and got an order of their bread sticks which were amazing. Sadly, it isn't the same and Beech Grove lost what was once a great...

Quality has drastically decreased over the last year. The pizzas now come drenched in the telltale orange grease of questionable cheese and the toppings seem less fresh.

Biggest decline would appear to be in their staff. Only order carry-out and the number of times things have been off has increased. Once the teen cashier forgot the cash tendered and when told she replied she couldn't do math and I had to tell her how much she owed me. This is the same employee who cannot seem to remember getting a 2 liter ready for your order. Literally 4 weeks in a row I order food w a 2 liter and she forgot every time and did not even know where they were kept, making me wait as she had to get someone fom the back to get me one each time. The entire staff seem to be just hanging out every time you go in with attending customers as a second thought.
