Made a detour on my road trip to see Beech Grove because it is the birthplace of Steve McQueen. I’m a big fan. I heard the public library had a section dedicated to him and I sent my husband in to snap a pic for me, but the lady attending said that it was upstairs and there needed to be someone else there to show him as she couldn’t leave her station, but clearly just didn’t want to take a minute out of her day to be friendly and help a visitor out.
I mean look, its fine. Just kind of bummed out. We came out of our way to Beech Grove specifically to see this and it would have been a nice thing to let us take a picture....
