So disappointed- we’ve been coming here for YEARS and getting milkshakes in the cool old-timey glasses at the counter. This year, we were informed by the extremely unpleasant girl at the register, that it’s no longer allowed : ( I guess it’s fine if policies change, but she was so incredibly rude about it. The other folks working seemed sweet, but the milkshakes were absolutely terrible, overpriced at $7.99 and basically a cup full of solid ice cream? Great spot to stop for an ice cream cone, and also has a bewildering array of candy. If there's something you liked as a kid, there's a good chance you'll find it here. The ice cream was very rich, with a great texture. Staffed by a single individual who was polite and helpful, even for some late-season visitors like us. Only demerit is for the strange lighting in the store. It was so incredibly dim it seemed like half the lights were off, and it made menus hard to read. Other than that, great choice...

The large, rude man child at Chocolate Drop Candy Shop tried to charge $14 for old jelly beans and was rude to my wife because she needed help finding something while he stood there stuffing his face with ice cream. Not welcoming at all. Maybe learn how to talk to customers and clean the place up with all the free time you have. Sorry you are a grown man working at a candy store..
