The Purple Baboon — Local services in Belfast

I stopped into many shops in Belfast, and most of them had very good souvenirs and trinkets. But the Purple Baboon was my absolute favorite. They have a little bit of everything. I chose some postcards and stickers, and I might return for a t-shirt. There are so many things in the store, and I love that. So much to see and choose from. They said some of the trinkets were from local artists, too. Being from out of state, the workers told me some facts about Maine and the town. If you are in Belfast, you must visit this place. I went here last year on vacation and went again this year. It's fun to explore this cute little shop. You always find such cool things tucked here or there. My husband gets a kick out of the chairs outside labeled 'Husband Chair' lol

Public restrooms are right around the corner where the people from the town do a nice job keeping up with flowers.

The woman at the register was also very pleasant and nice.

I will be back in ME in September and I will stop here again to see what else they have...

if you are not a maine local and would love cute gifts for yourself and/or family, this is the place to visit. they have everything you can think of: t-shirts, hoodies/sweaters, keychains, etc. they have signs all over their clothes if you can not find your size, they will look in the back. the older woman at the register was so patient with me and my friends, helped us out with any questions we had, and made our experience amazing. definitely would come and visit for the cutest...
