Pizza Mia — Restaurant in Bellefonte

The pizza is fine - not wonderful - just fine. I recommend never asking for delivery on a Tuesday. I placed an order online around 7 pm since I waited on hold on the phone for over 5 minutes. Received a confirmation that the pizza should arrive by 8 pm. Considering I only live a block or so away, I should have dined in or walked over and got it. It had been a bad day and I wanted delivery. At 8:15, I called to inquire about it and was told it was out the door. At 8:45, I called again and was told it was out the door - so I reminded the employee that I had been told that 30 minutes earlier. I told the person that it had better arrive within 5 minutes or they could keep it. The driver arrived within the 5 minutes and with 0 change. I asked him if this pizza was going to be hot and he said he just picked it up. Guess what - the pizza was cold. Stone cold. I called to complain, and was offered a new pizza but at 9 pm - I don't want a new pizza, I wanted my pizza hot and 45 minutes ago. I should have been offered a free pizza or a significant coupon towards a future pizza. It will be a long time before I order delivery from Pizza Mia again. I am very capable of holding a...

My boyfriend and I have been looking for a good pizza place in the area. We should have read the recent reviews prior to going to this place. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza at 9:32pm. I asked the guy who took our order if we just sit where ever and he said yes. About 45 minutes later, after watching customers and employees come and go, I looked at the reviews and found a lot recently about people waiting for a long time for their food (and incorrect orders). The guy who took our order walked by twice and saw us just sitting back there so we decided almost an hour later we were leaving and going to Sheetz. As soon as the girl saw us out there, she just said I'm sorry I didn't know you were back there and then told us just to take a 2 liter. She was also standing there when our order was taken. We took our pizza and a 2 liter and left. The box was hot but the pizza was not. No attempt was made to correct this other than a free 2 liter. We have no idea how long our food was sitting there. The employees are loud and unprofessional. Their inappropriate conversations included a lot of swearing. We will never go to this...

Went here two weekends ago on a Friday night since two places I wanted to eat at both closed at 8. I'm not sure if they were just having an off night but the food was horrendous. I ordered a pizza, mozzarella sticks, bread sticks and French fries. I guess I can say the breadsticks were decent even though they were smothered in grease. Everything else was undercooked and seemed like they could have spent more time cooking. The pizza was limp and doughy, very greasy on top. The fries looked abysmal and tasted just the same. The mozzarella sticks looked like French Toast sticks or something. They were very thick and again, undercooked and soggy. I never leave leftovers but I gave them to my cousin who was with me because I couldn't stomach anymore. If you're looking for really good Italian food, I'd say go to Brother's or Maria's or anywhere else but here. I would have rather just got a frozen pizza that night and saved my money.
