I wish I could give Our Fair Lady more than 5 stars! This was our first experience staying at a bed and breakfast. . Tami and Bob went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was as amazing as the house itself. They took the time to stop and talk to us- share the history of the town and the Victorian house. They gave ideas on what activities to do and places to get some delicious food. They greeted us with wine and a cheese and cracker plate upon arriving. The house was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed sitting in the gazebo with an adult beverage. We did not get the opportunity to use the fire pit- but such a great idea. Breakfast was AMAZING. Tami uses local and fresh produce. She even took the time to put a candle in my breakfast and sang Happy Birthday- even though my birthday was 4 days later. Hands down best experience. Tami kept saying this was our time to be pampered... and pampered we were. We will...
Read moreWe did not stay overnight but I hosted my 33rd birthday here for a high tea event today 2/17/24. There were 8 of us. Calling for information and to schedule the event was so smooth and the host was so nice and pleasant to work wirh. The decor and details in the victorian building were gorgeous. We were served a delicious roasted tomato soup, a strawberry sorbet as a palette cleanser, tea sandwiches, truffles, stuffed dates, and many more goodies along with two kinds of delicious, high quality teas. Many ingredients used were grown by the host themself! A lot of planning went into this on the host's end and all foods were made in house and were exquisite. Very good attention to detail. Just a lovely time overall and well worth the $. My boyfriend doesn't even like tea and he kept asking for refills it was THAT good. We will definitely be back....
Read moreWe love this place! The rooms are true to the Victorian architecture. The place is impeccably clean and has a very romantic flair to it. In our last trip I left my earnings behind and the hostess was very kind to mail it to me in New York, with a sweet note thanking us of our stay, which was very thoughtful. She pays attention to the little details that make it feel you're a valued guest. At our second visit she asked about my family that she remembered so well from our visit to this place. Above all, she and her husband cooks up a delicious breakfast which you can immediately tell is made with the finest ingredients. The Amish yogurt is to die for!
We love this upscale bed and breakfast over any soulless upscale hotels. Highly recommend it for a romantic night or a relaxing night especially if you're visiting your kid...
