I would normally give this restaurant all five stars. However, I placed an order, and it wasn't right. I specifically asked for three Cuban subs, three orders of red beans and rice with onions on two of them, and two orders of jalapeño sauce. I got my three subs, two orders of red beans and rice, along with the two orders of jalapeño sauce. However, the onions were put on two subs instead of beans and rice as requested. We were shorted an order of red beans and rice too. The rice was hard as well. I called to let someone know that our order was messed up. I believe I spoke to the owner who blamed me for ordering wrong. I ordered exactly as I stated above. He said again that I ordered wrong and basically hung up on me. I was not rude to him. I wanted him to know that they messed up our order and maybe an apology and an offer to give us our order corrected. I would've ended up disappointed with my red beans and rice since the rice was hard anyway. This was the worst experience we've ever had with Chicken Time and may not order from them again. From the minute we walked in the waitress approached us & she appeared to have an attitude. She was unfriendly & acted as if she was bothered when taking our order. She was absolutely rude & unprofessional. At the end of our meal, we placed an order to go which she presented to be annoyed when taking the order. A few minutes later, another sibling called asking for us to order an Alcapuria at which point I waited for her to return and asked her to add an Alcapuria to the order. She paused, rolled her eyes and proceeded to walk away without acknowledging. When we took our food out we were missing red beans and immediately called not noticing it was closed but, in the middle of leaving a message someone (would not put his name here) picked up. We did let him know that our beans were missing, he immediately stated he was the one who packed the food and he did put the beans inside the order and he didnât know what happened afterwards. Again, we explained it was not there, he again repeated himself he packed and that was that. No apologies, no let me credit you, no accountability and that was very disappointing and our food was not cheap. We had to ask and all we got is next time you order Iâll give you free beans.
