La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Belleville

Wow, they have some work to do! The A/C doesn't work very well, and neither did the wait staff. All the lights in the building were flickering constantly, it was definitely uncomfortable because of the temperature. The chips were good, but the cheese sauce was cold when it was brought out. Never had the same person check on us twice. Seemed like the employees all new and had never waited tables before. One guy calling the shots and everyone else running around not paying attention to anything. I had a burrito fajita, the guacamole tasted like it had quinine in it, and the steak had no real seasoning at all. Not the experience I wanted to have or share with my better half. I finally walked to the cashier after sitting at the table watching everyone sweating for 10 minutes waiting...

I've been to this restaurant a couple of times since they opened. I had the Rio Grande burrito which is a nice sized burrito with cheese and red sauce. The chips are served warm with individual bowls for salsa. Our servers have been attentive and friendly. And food delivery from the kitchen is quick...no complaints. The interior is nicely decorated, but the restrooms seem to be connected to the low budget motel. On the upside, they do offer a military discount.
