I'm hoping on able to post a picture with this review. It will show my whole Taylor ham egg and cheese bagel picked apart and trying to eat at least the egg or bagel. Once again the Taylor ham was sour. We used to come here every single morning 7 days a week for at least 4 breakfasts sometimes more. But every couple months you would get a Taylor ham egg and cheese with the Taylor ham tasting very funny. They claim that it's not bad and maybe it's not. Maybe it's just from not cleaning the grill and it's mixing with other foods but being that I eat this sandwich daily I know exactly how it should taste and this taste makes me spit it out. The only reason I only gave this review a 2 is because when they are good, they are really good. I went from coming every single day for years, to giving it a try again every week or 2. I miss my delicious bagel. I tried to eat just without the taylor ham but still tasted nasty. Then I tried to eat just the bagel but STILL tastes like the bad meat. Throwing right in the garbage. Cereal...
Read moreThe place has never given me anything that has tasted bad, and I've never gotten food poisoning from food here, which is why I'm giving a second and third star. I've gotten sick from so many places in north jersey it's almost an expectation. However, I did see a roach walk across the floor pretty bravely when I was waiting for my order once, and that experience made me never want to eat here again.
I visited today because Bagel Plus was closed already, and thought, maybe, just maybe they would get my order right this time. No dice. The bagel was untoasted and cold, tasted like a bagel from yesterday, and didn't have what I asked for inside it.
Next time I go to Sunrise, I'm definitely ordering an everything bagel because those get ordered the most, so it's more likely to be made the day of. And I'll probably just get it with taylor ham egg and cheese because that order is so popular no one could mess it up. I won't even bother asking for it to be toasted because this place is allergic to...
Read moreWhat once was considered the best bagel spot in town has long lost that crown—this place is a joke now. Walking in feels like stepping into a sad time capsule from the 1990s. Everything about it screams outdated and neglected. It’s dim, dreary, and honestly just gives off depressing vibes.
The worker behind the counter looked like they couldn’t be bothered, serving customers with a straight-up skank face the whole time. No greeting, no smile, just “what you want” smh tired of this shh.
And then the price? $11 for 3 bagels with cream cheese lmao. Are you kidding me? Not even in New York do you get charged that much for something so basic. For a place that looks this old and borderline dirty, they’ve got some nerve with those prices.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY here. This...
