Super Gyro's — Restaurant in Belleville

We ordered Super Gyros tonight for delivery through GrubHub. We have multiple times and the food was always delicious. Well, after an hour and a half, I called the store to see where my delivery was and he said it was delivered. I assured him it wasn’t and that I was sitting by the door and waiting for it. I have a crazy dog who tries to run out when someone rings the doorbell or we get packages (this started when I had my first son so I think it’s his protector instincts) so I always ask for no-contact delivery. Well, when I called to ask about my order, i was SHOCKED at how rude the owner was. He told me that my order WAS delivered and I let him know it must have been the wrong house. He told me it was my own fault for saying to leave it on the porch. He yelled over me for about 2 minutes until he hung up on me. I am appalled and how badly I was treated, so I’m guessing he knows it was their fault and was being extra defensive. Needless to say, I’ll NEVER order from there again and I feel it’s important to support people in our community that deserve the support. I recently moved to the area and this was the very first place my husband and I ordered food from. I ordered online and when I arrived I had to sit in a long drive through line and wait for everyone to order ahead of me. I was a little annoyed but the line moved fast so I got over my cranky attitude pretty fast (had it not been during COVID times I'm sure I could have easily just went inside to avoid the line). We have since ordered a 2nd time and I'm going to assume that this will be are go to place for Gyro's from now on. The food was hot and yummy! We normally just order the single gyro. I also like to snag a side of onion rings because they are REALLY REALLY GOOD!! I was in Belleville on Sun. ,up from Houston and figured since i was in Illinois, i would find an Italian Beef, googled it , and this place came up. I got there, place was empty, and i wanted a beef, so i stood at the register for like 10 minutes with 3 employees right there, and not one of them even looked up. Well i decided that this place was closed or something because no one even looked up, i walked out of the door, then the manager comes chasing me out of store apologizing. I then go back into the store and order the Italian beef and sausage combo, waited for 15 min, got my order and walked out.
