The food is decent but inconsistent. The only reason they stay in business is because there isn't any other Persian Restaurant in the area and Persian food in general is quite delicious. They do a decent job but it is not the best. It is really unfortunate because there was a REAL MASTER of Persian food that had a little tiny place over by crossroads mall, his food was delectable and the quality of his ingredients was superb! Such a shame they closed down... Hosein and Puri, come back to Bellevue! Anyway, back to Caspian :( The owners are brothers and one of them is nicer than the other but at times both can be very rude, they behave with a sort of entitlement. I wish they would remind themselves they just run a kebab house, and it's not the Shah's kitchen. (oh, my bad...but really, that is how they behave) The staff comes and goes but there are two waiters that seem to hang around, one in particular is the skinny 40ish redhead lady with the turned up nose wearing the Hermes belt. I'm not sure if she is a girlfriend or family member but I am thinking that is the only reason she is allowed to stay because her attitude is horrid and she behaves so rude and disrespectful. She NEVER smiles, poor thing she might not have teeth. She only talks to men and only in farsi, perhaps she doesn't know English? At any rate, she doesn't care about the customer, walks right on by if you have your hand up and seems annoyed to even be at work. Honey, quit your job or find a new boyfriend that owns a deli so you can sit in the back and not deal with people, it's not your forte. These people are lucky they have a niche in the market being the only Persian food in Bellevue, but as with anything luck runs out. So, I would suggest, be kind to your patrons, remember them, hire better staff, get rid of the snobby gal, it's unanimous, 70% of the reviews mention how bad she is for your customer service. Here is my last hint, you might have less take out orders if you had better customer service. But wait, you don't like the people that come in to your restaurant...
Read moreGave this place several tries because the food is good and this is the only Persian restaurant in the area. Sadly every experience has been disheartening. Customer service is horrible. I've read the other reviews and it's pretty clear to me that they do not care if you ever come back because they have a monopoly of the market for Persian food. The owner that doesn't wear glasses is pompous and rude and acts like you are a bother. There is a difference between then two of them, one of them looks at you and the other one has his nose up in the air. I am Persian and I speak the language and I've been a customer so many times because I do like the food and these people continue to treat me and friends I've referred there like I am a bother when I come in with coworkers or family or for take out. I no longer dine in because there is one waiter that is extremely rude and he always ends up serving my table. The only positive I have experienced was the one owner with glasses, he seems friendlier and acknowledged that he'd seen me before and was considerate enough to say hello. But more times than not, I've been very disenchanted with their service and I recently had a lunch at the Persepolis Café and Persian market that is down the street from them. It's a tiny little café however the owner is really nice guy and his Kabob sandwiches rock! All of his food is great and the service is terrific for being a little place. So, if you want a dinner get take out if they answer their phone or if you want to go for lunch and want to take a coworker, go to Persepolis, you'll be treated better! 13112 NE 20th St, Ste 300...
Read moreWORST EXPERIENCE!!!! (Added more below for the owners comment) I donât even know where to beginâthis was one of the worst customer service experiences Iâve ever had. The woman and the man working there treat customers as if theyâre getting a free meal rather than paying for it. Their attitude is rude, unprofessional, and outright nasty. I experienced this on my first visit but gave them the benefit of the doubt since the food was good. I decided to give it another chance, but that was a huge mistake. Their behavior is completely unethical, and to be honest, I couldnât shake the feeling that there was some underlying discrimination in the way they treated certain customers. I strongly recommend avoiding this place for dining in. If you really like their food, maybe just stick to takeout, but personally, I will never step foot in that restaurant againâand I wouldnât recommend it to anyone. Absolutely disgusting service!
AdditionâAs the owner admitted in their comment, they discriminate based on order sizeâseriously lol? I even explained to the server that my parents had never tried Persian food before, so I wanted them to sample it from my plate before committing to a large order. Even though, I still ordered $40 worth of entree, including extra add-ons for rice. Itâs disappointing to see a business...
