Cafe itself is fantastic. Modern and comfortable decor, large square footage with a couple of quiet cozy nooks you can settle into with friends for long chats. Drinks are mid. They don't suck. I have tried the seasonal black sesame latte and it tasted like a too sweet PSL with a smidge of black sesame paste, it was very confusing to my asian american palate. Parking is nearly non-existent. There are a limited number of 2 hour free street parking. Otherwise, you can go by foot since the light rail station is just across the street. I think it is clear at this point Dote isn't catering to customers that drive and most, if not all of their locations are designed to serve office workers at the foot of major tech company buildings.

Would definitely recommend as one of the better coffee shops in the area. Food/drinks: I’ve gotten a number of their lattes/mochas and they’ve always been quite decent. They have a good number of drink options along with some pretty good seasonals. They also have a variety of baked goods but the savory options are very limited for anyone who’s vegetarian. Service: The baristas have always been kind and have offered samples of syrups. Vibe: The cafe is quite spacious with many seating options and tables. The seats are very comfortable and their art collab has added a nice touch to the space. I’ve worked out of the cafe and haven’t found any problems in the past; it’s not too loud, there are outlets, and the wifi is good.

Which makes us feel so welcomed and truly makes our days! The food is great, from the turkey sandwich to the banana bread there really isn’t any option that isn’t a hit. The matcha is really high quality and one of our favorites we have found in the area, especially since we get it with the house made vanilla syrup that is so delicious (we rarely stray from that order). The overall atmosphere of the shop is beautiful and stands out amongst the many coffee shops in the area. We are so grateful for Dote and will be customers for life!

I've been visiting DOTE almost every weekend for study sessions, and it's consistently been a great experience. The drinks are excellent, and the service has always been spot-on.

Unfortunately, this past weekend (05/03 and 05/04) didn’t meet the usual standard. On Saturday, I ordered a drink with alternative milk but received one made with whole milk instead. Then on Sunday, while the drink tasted fine, it was served extremely hot—so much so that I nearly burned my throat, and I hadn't requested an extra-hot drink.

It seems like the new staff may not be paying as much attention to details, which is disappointing (yup, the new staff). I really hope things improve soon—I'd hate to lose one of my favorite weekend spots for a good latte and...
