PepperJax Grill — Restaurant in Bellevue

This place has gone down hill quickly. The last time I brought my family here it was so cold inside that my rice bowl was cold by the time I sat down . I decided to give it one more try since we really liked Pepper Jax in the past.

When we first got there (dinner), we ordered and all was fine. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and the electronic soap dispenser wasn't working. I told one of the workers and she did go in to add soap but obviously didn't check to see if it actually worked. Well, I went back in and the dispenser was still not working . Luckily I had my wife get some soap in her bathroom and I used that.

The problem I have is, we we're one of the first customers of the evening. If I didn't have soap, I'm guessing the rest of the workers haven't washed their hands in who knows how long. Totally unacceptable.

The last thing is that my daughter spilled her water on the floor. I went to the counter to tell them and was asked, "do you want a handfull of napkins to clean it up"? I said, "no you will need a mop because it's all over the floor and I don't want anyone to slip on it". Well, she never came. We went back to the counter to remind them that water needs cleaned up. They immediately grabbed a mop with the typical eye roll the entire time while she cleaned the water up. I guess anything but food preparation is not in their job description.

I went through the drive thru on my way home. I ordered a simple chicken Philly, large cheese fries, kids corn dogs and a chocolate rice crisps bar. I was told that they didn't have chocolate cover rice crisps treats, so got a regular one. I got the window and got my order (didn't check because I have never had a issue here before) and the guy at the window almost forgot the kids drink. Got home to find out I had gotten the kids meal and treat but had someone else's bowl all together (no Philly and no cheese fries). I went back to the store and told them about there mistake. Before I could finish talking the employee (that seemed very annoyed at me), she went back and made a Philly. Brought me that and I asked what about my cheese fries, she intruputed me from talking to ask me about the fries with an attitude (still annoyed). She brought those to me and asked if I needed a bag. Absolute terrible customer service, I repeated my order over and over to the cook but she was to busy arguing with the person who puts the toppings on because the couldn't get their orders together or remember what anything was when there was only 5 orders and they were all waiting sitting in pans drying out. They hand me a steak philly with no break like I asked but no cheesy on it which I asked for twice, the take it out 4 slices of cheese stacked not melted at all. I showed being upset so I brought it up and they took it back but told me they didn't have microwave so she didn't know she wanted me to fix it. Brought it back to the cook started talking bad about me infront of my mom. So my mom became upset and told her not to do that. She looked at my mom and said she didn't say anything, then started telling my mom her grandma went to the hospital today so that's why she has an attitude today.
